Ros' fate hit me pretty bad....she was so pretty and joyful, what an awful end for her But most heartbreaking are: 1. Catelyn's last moments 2. Stannis seeing Shireen burn 3. Robb crawling to Talisa 4. Lady's death 5. Arya seeing Grey Wind die 6. Theon seeing Sansa getting raped 7. Rodrick's death 8. Luwin seeing flayed boys 9. Ellaria seeing Oberyn die 10. whatever Davos' reaction is when he finds out about Shireen 11. Jon seeing that arrow hit Ygritte 12. Sansa seeing the mockery of her brother during PW |

The Red Wedding was devastating to me. Never before or since, has a fictional event affected me emotionally the same way as the Red Wedding. I had already read the books at this point, so I knew it was coming and it still broke my heart - but it was an amazing scene nonetheless. Michelle Fairley was absolutely magnificent in that episode. The fact that she didn't won an Emmy that year, that she wasn't even nominated, was a freaking crime, if you ask me.
And then there is the burning of Shireen Baratheon. This one didn't really make me sad in the usual sense of the word. It made me sick, I literally felt nauseous afterwards. It was like watching a documentary about the Holocaust or something, it was just really fucked-up shit and I wanted it to be over. In a sense, it was worse than the Red Wedding, because I didn't see it coming and it didn't feel 'right' to me from a storytelling perspective. I absolutely hated it.

My "Red Wedding" moment was the Viper's death. He quickly became one of my favorite characters in the short time he was with us. I guess in hindsight the silver lining is if he had won than Tyrion wouldn't have met Dany.

The saddest Aemon scene was when he talked about his family in season 1 not his death scene. i didn't even cry when he died and Aemon is my fave character but i did tear up in the books. When he talks about how his family was butchered and talking to Sam about lost loves were some of the most heart breaking moments.
I also thought when Dany saw Drogo in her HotU vision in the show it was pretty heartbreaking, also when she smothered him.
The Hounds 'death' scene was also pretty heartbreaking. And Meera seeing her brother, jojen die.
Also this season has added quite a few: shireen's burning, sansa's rape, theon's confessions, Hardhome.
