My Mum really likes Doran and his "Perhaps some soup instead," quip. She said he's probably the smartest political leader in the show. She thinks he should've had Ellaria killed back in 502 though and doesn't trust that she's submitted to Doran. She hasn't complained once about Dorne at all btw or the Snakes or anything and even said during a rewatch of 509 when it aired again the other day that it seems like a better place to live than Braavos (I guess because the scenes were back-to-back?).
She also said that she still likes Stannis. Or at least that he's still sympathetic, even though he's definitely crossed the line. She thinks he'll die soon btw. She was sad about Shireen dying but understood the whole "sacrifice one to save everyone" angle behind it. She liked that Selyse's instincts kicked in, despite previously "always being a piece of shit". She also said she knew Shireen was going to die immediately after her tender scene with Davos.
She LOVED Daznak's, even though she kept saying, "the dragon's going to show up" when it first aired. That didn't ruin the entrance for her though and every subsequent time it's been on TV, she still gets all riled up about that scene, particularly the image of Dany flying off on his back. She was genuinely worried that Drogon would die when he had all those spears in him and kept saying, "They can't kill him, can they?" I think it might be her favourite scene in the whole show actually. She also liked that Tyrion stayed behind to save Missandei (who she refers to as "your girlfriend" to me btw, just like I refer to Jaime to her as "your boyfriend").
IIRC she also went on for a while about how great and expressive Iain Glen's forehead and Emilia Clarke's eyebrows are. If I can remember more stuff she said I'll post it here.
