I'm sure that things won't get too out of hand here. It's quite easy, just like with the Sansa scene. Everyone seems to agree and are directing all abuse at D&D.  |

I mean people are having extreme reaction to EXTREME things happening. I'm not gonna delete and censor posts saying they won't watch the show because it's their right. Jack, don't blame the community for what the writers are doing.

He basically called him an apologist that will twist anything in the shows favor over the books. If singling out someone and obviously flaming them (that's a flame) doesn't warrant a post deletion than nothing really should. I thought really the only rule here was not to attack another member? Actually posting pornography, stuff that may be distressing for others, calling someone a 'c-nt' or trolling and verbally harassing someone would get a post deleted. Calling someone an apologist to me is not an abusive remark. And if you thought it was you should have report it not write about about it in the thread were I request peaceful atmosphere. |

Tensions and emotions are high right now - but I think everyone's being as civil as possible and it's no way as bad as what is going on over at that other site which I am staying far away from. Sati got mad at King Tommen too and called him out. I think we just need to remember that everyone's got a different perspective and opinion and that's ok, just don't insult others for their view or defense one way or the other. We're all unsullied here at this point and it's tough to be in that position now.  I'm staying right here. I'm not venturing out to other forums and I'm going to be polite as I can be even when I'm upset. |

Here's some great advice from my friends who don't understand my seriousness of asoiaf. "Don't take it too seriously. It's just a TV show!" As if that attitude would ever work. Everyone is allowed to get angry and in this case, it's justified. So go ahead, rant away but try to be as civil as possible.
