I picked the big three, Tyrion, Jon, and Dany, likely all going out in heroic glory. Dany can have a surprise baby to continue the line or some shit. I really don't see how Jon's joke about Arya sewing through winter is more ominous than Sansa losing Lady, but whatevs. I think all three Starklings have to make it, though I'm most worried for Sansa. The golden incest twins should go out in a blaze together, IA. At the very least, if I'm right about Tyrion, I don't want Jaime to survive after his siblings and kids have all been killed. Out of curiosity, what makes Lady's death ominous for Sansa? Sorry, this is a late reply, but for me it's more how is it not ominous? If the Starklings are all wargs, then Sansa basically had a part of her soul killed. She doesn't have the same connection to her siblings and to her homeland through the wolf dreams. The only other dead direwolf is Grey Wind, whose human is also dead. And if you look at the other wolves as representatives of their Starks, then it doesn't look good that Sansa's just got a good girl lady who died to represent her. Please understand that I don't want Sansa to die and am not saying she will, (I think all she, Arya and Bran are all safe actually), just that I find Lady's death very troubling and I don't think it can be dismissed without reducing the direwolves to just regular pets.

I always thought it would be all of them except Bran and Sansa. Mainly because I wasn't Bran to return to Winterfell and Sansa to finally find the true knight. But that might be a little too hopeful. When George says stuff about the last book being wind blowing over graves, I assume the worst. Jon and Dany seem certain to die, Tyrion has a high chance, and Arya's a very uncertain character, but I think she will die. Better to go out in a blaze of glory tbh.

I doubt Jon will die a second time. Bran will survive no doubt. Tyrion propably also survives, but he could die too. 50-50. Sansa has same situation as Tyrion. 50-50. I am sure Arya dies, because you can't really live normal life being that messed up and also I don't think she'll stay with FM. Dany is a goner. She'll die fighting the WW. I don't believe in dying while saving the day. More like one of dragons (Drogon? Viserion will be Jon's and I think Rhaegal will be fAegon's and get killed in DoD II) dies and gets resurrected as a wight. That dragon would kill her.
Also I think Dany will finally fall to madness while arriving at Westeros.

A better question, I think I never see, is who has to be there to the very end in order to complete the story , no matter how bitter sweet? GRRM could of course kill everybody and only leave Shaggydog alive!

Bran, definitely certain of that, no doubt. Jon and Daenerys have dying to save the world written all over them. Sansa should survive too- she's survived this long without her wolf, she can survive the whole series. Arya... ehh, don't feel as strong, I'm definitely worried about her and Nymeria (all the direwolves I'd be worried about). Not because she is 'messed up' or 'going down a path of revenge' but because she is in constant, physical danger.
Tyrion, on the other hand... I feel like he should live. That doesn't mean he will, but he has been told all his life he would die (for reasons of him being a dwarf). I think it would be great for a character to survive that amount of hatred. I don't know what pre War For Dawn life would hold for him, but I'm definately rooting for him to survive.
