So there has been a lot of chat in the S6 casting call thread about what will happen in Meereen and with Daenerys in the finale, so I think it should really have its own thread For Dany herself, I don't think things will play out much differently than they do in the book (although the vision quest will probably have been cut ). I think the season ends with her finding the Khalasar. It's really hard to guess what will happen in Meereen, though. Will Drogon burn all of the SotH? I doubt it, so there's probably still some unfinished business for Jorah/Tyrion/Daario to deal with there, so we may see glimpses of Barry's chapters there, with Hizdahr taking over and someone (probably Daario?) confronting and arresting him (or killing him, it's Daario). But the city will probably still be in a state of chaos even without the Yunkish armies at the gates because, well, Dany has just fucked off on dragonback

I picture Daario killing Hizdahr pretty doable, since he's jealous as fuck. It will be probably out of rage though. I just hope that Tyrion brings some sort of sense to the city, I expect there will be few Sons of the Harpy left if anything. I don't know what Jorah will do. Poor guy gets exiled, comes back, fights in the pit and watches his love interest fly AND he has greyscale. Maybe greyscale will be a topic?

The thing with the SoTH is that it looks like Daznak's is a full-scale attack on their part with them surrounding Dany and company. Once Drogon arrives, we know that he burns up a lot of shit (the amount of flame throwers and carnage we've seen in the leaked shooting videos confirms it). Once Dany flies on Drogon, I would imagine the SoTH would all be decimated by Drogon or at least finished off by the Unsullied/Jorah/Daario shortly afterwards. The only other option is that everyone who isn't Dany gets captured/killed and I don't think that's likely.
Whatever Hizdahr's role is, he's not part of the group in peril in Daznak's even though he's there earlier overseeing with Dany. So he either gets killed or runs away. There's also the matter of what the hell Greyworm ends up doing (he can only stay in bed so long) as well as Viserion/Rhaegal presumably being released. I wonder if Greyworm will finally appear at full strength to take out Hizdahr, I can't really think of any other good reason why he's not there in the pit with the others.
So with all that said, I think it's a good prediction to have the SoTH threat wiped out in E9. Draw your own conclusions of what that means for the finale I suppose.

I know there was a lot of debate about whether or not Dany will return to Meereen after her flight. I didn't understand all of that and got confused between Season 5 and Season 6 speculation so I appreciate a separate thread just to discuss the ending of this current season.
I don't think she's coming back this season after she flies and though I'd love to see it, I suspect they may not show much of the Dothraki Sea at all other than a quick ending with her at Drogon's bone pile and the Khalasar arriving if even that much. They're going to leave it on a cliffhanger with her but they'll do it in some epic hopeful way because they've done that before and she's very popular with the mainstream viewer audience.
As for what remains of Meereen ... I think for this season all we're going to see is the chaos and burning right? We aren't going to see any political stuff for Tyrion sadly, there doesn't seem to be time if they hold off her flight for the last episode. Is that what everyone's thinking?
Greyworm, Hizdahr and Daario will probably have some sort of showdown and if he's not killed, Hizzy will be back in his cell again is all I see happening hehe.
