Here it is!
My brother laughed when Tyrion was frantically trying to get his shackles off then slowly looked up. He also looked at me sort of in shock when Cersei was grabbed. He revealed to me that he doesn't really enjoy Winterfell or the Wall - says they're "quite dark". On the plus side, he admitted he has warmed to Stannis, despite he himself being "quite dark".

Father said: Uncertain of necessity of Bronn/Sand Snakes scene unless it's to differentiate them for when they take on bigger roles, but thought it was an improvement for them Jerome Flynn's singing was top Myrcella looks like Princess Peach Right after Cersei left Margaery, asked why they don't confront Cersei about her stuff especially with Lancel on their team and then boom Made fun of his book reader work friend on the phone about Dany and Tyrion meeting His theory now is Sansa will kill Ramsay and Theon and Brienne will come get her but Roose will stop her and "Stannis will do something too"

Not unsullied reactions, but I'm seeing some of the, um, slower book readers complaining about how the "fighting pits" weren't as big as they imagined.

I watched this with my mom who kept telling me how much Tyrion should be king and she "loves Khaleesi."
Typical GA shit
My husband, however had snobby book face during most of it.

I think some of those are jokes. That's why I posted 3, I wasn't sure which were genuine and thought I was bound to hit at least 1 if I posted 3

Well, I haven't talked to my friend since 5.07, but we did talk the day before. She's been watching it all along, but after our discussion on Saturday, I was in total disbelief. She wanted to know who the man was who was in the room when Ramsay raped Sansa. OK - so I went back to explain that was Theon, whom Ramsay had tortured so that Theon 'became' Reek. She didn't remember, so I referenced Theon's "dismemberment" - nope. So I backed up to Theon's capturing of WF - nope. Then back to his being a ward of the Starks (vague remembrance), then going with Robb to war but betraying him . . . nope. She also wanted to know whatever happened to the little crippled boy who fell (not was pushed, mind you) out of the window.
WTF? Why watch if you're not keeping up with the story? I used to work with a few people who were pretty avid tv fans, and that was pretty great, though it was always a struggle not to divulge additional information. I finally convinced my daughter to watch the tv series, but she 'lost interest' in the beginning of season 2, so I'm wondering now if she's really related to me or not.
Sigh.

My dad reacted to a few things. A few wise words. "He's such a little shit." - on Ramsay Bolton. "He should shut his mouth" - on Alliser Thorne "So is he gonna die?" - on Bronn "She isn't happy to see him!" - on Dany seeing Jorah "Hahahahahahaha!" - on Cersei getting arrested.

Sigh. What. Is. This. I stole the gif from Sati's gallery.

"He's the most evil person on this show." About Ramsay
"He's the nicest person on this show." About Sam

I was very excited to talk to several unsullied outside yesterday while milling around watching water flooding our street (lol). They were having a Memorial Day indoor party due to all the heavy rain and watching the GoT marathon which was a second watch for most of them. The two chicks said they really hate the Sansa stuff and hope she or someone kills Ramsay and Theon both ASAP. The dude was the one who loved the Sand Snakes. I asked him if he loved them before or after Tyene's little side show and he just laughed. He said he thought they were all pretty hot and the bad fighting scene didn't bother him. I picked their brains a bit and asked who they thought was going to end up winning the iron throne now that Cersei is arrested, Margaery is arrested and everything's getting uncertain. ALL THREE unanimously said "Kaleesi" ... sigh. I guess there's no need to continue the story HBO, you already have your winner.

Talked to my dad about the episode. He said it was funny Cersei didn't know that her "plans" would backfire. He enjoys High Sparrow a lot. He predicted that Tommen the First would attack the sept, now that both his mother and wife are locked. He wanted to be sure though, so he asked me. I told I didn't know and that in the books Tommen is like eight. Dad was shocked so I said that Margaery doesn't consummate. He laughed because of Tommen's "outlawing beets".
I told him Dany and Tyrion don't meet yet, but Jorah still goes to the fighting pits but Tyrion remains a slave. He seemed shocked. Also he said it is pretty obvious that Jon will kill a White Walker now that Sam gave him the obsidian dagger.

I'm glad you added the disclaimer that Tommen and Marg didn't have sex in the books with his age being only 8 or so, LOL - people are already shocked enough by a teenage boy and older woman having sex ...sheez isn't that every teenage boy's dream!? Your Dad's mention of the WW reminded me - I forgot to mention that the unsullied I talked to asked me two questions when they found out I was a book pro: 1. Do the White Walkers turn Westeros into The Walking Dead (they were joking since we both shared the same shows)? 2. Do the Dragons kill everyone when they get full size and do they have baby dragons? (I thought this was weird - they're all males so....) I answered that I have no idea to either of those things since the books end without telling us what ultimately happens with either of the 'magical' elements but that it's called "Song of Ice and Fire" as a series for a reason. They nodded and raised their eyebrows and the guy said he's going to buy the books and start reading - so yay a convert maybe!

So they should be able to mate with each other if need be.
