No. Shireen doesn't deserve that sickly little maniack. Oh I agree, he's a turd and she deserves better but you have to admit it could be a powerful match and Shireen's probably never going to marry for love. Also, now that he's away from his insane Mother, he might actually tun out half decent if the Vale lords toughen him up a bit. I'm a big believer in anyone being able to change with the right handling. He's also not really that sickly in the show like he is in the books. I think he has minor epilepsy or something in the book and felt like he was probably never going to live to adulthood. Show Robert/Robin is just a wimpy shithead. Ramsay?

Roose is trying to handle him - or is he? I can't decide if Roose purposely lets him get away with the crazy shit he keeps doing or not. Roose is smart, why isn't he putting the hammer down? Where was he when Ramsay was flaying the old woman to death? He has to know what's going on with Sansa, she's not at the dinner table now is she? This is one of those things I nitpick because the show is just making Roose conveniently invisible so Ramsay can do his psycho routine and it's annoying. But ranting aside, you have a point - perhaps not all people are redeemable and able to change.

Roose only told him not to flay lords that they might need later. I doubt Roose would care about random small folk like the old woman.

I always felt like Roose kept Ramsay around to make him look better, like when it came down to it, he could execute Ramsay for his crimes and say 'man that guy was kind of crazy, but I took him out for the good of the realm, Imma be chillin at the Dreadfort with Walda and my little dude, good luck this Winter, ya'll.'
In book 2 or 3 I remember Roose talks to Robb about his bastard's crimes, and suggests that it's Robb's choice if he wants him executed. Cat remarks that Roose is a cold man, and I think this comment was a play to reinforce Roose's loyalty to the Starks.
As for Sweetrobin, I think he's young enough to be molded into a decent person. Last year Littlefinger mentions that some sickly boys grow up to be powerful men and he's alluding to himself. Sweetrobin probably won't turn into a brutish Rickard Stark, but he could be taught how to manipulate and play the game like Petyr.

Now that they've revealed Walda is going to have a little Bolton, the liklihood of Ramsay being removed from the equation has definitely gone up moreso than in the books. I always felt like Roose kept him around because he didn't have a lot of options and wanted to make sure the house survived onward - somewhat like Tywin putting up with Tyrion and marrying Sansa to him to continue on the Lannister line since it didn't look like Jaime was going to do that. Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess - but Ramsay has to go. Bad seed. Robin, definitely could be Littlefinger 2.0 but only if Littlefinger decides to take him on as his dark apprentice. He seems to have just dumped him on the Vale Lords at this point.
