Wow, in classic IMDB troll style, someone on their boards suggested Sam was raped. *applaud* bravo ser, you've out trolled yourself That awful troll Yung Wolf on WOTW was making the same kind of comments on their recap. I honestly don't know why Sue hasn't just purged us of him yet.I'm very surprised by that too.

Aaaugh! I forgot all about Ramsay locking up wife #1 until she ate her own fingers, then died of starvation! (Repression is a very good thing!)

'The power of kings blood' why didn't melisandre think of maester aemon. Perhaps the Lord of Light never told her that Aemon was a Targaryen. This is the part of the story where we realize Melisandre's powers are mostly bull. At the very least, she can't interpret her visions. There's a strong chance that she either lied about or deliberately misrepresented her vision of walking in Winterfell.

It would have been awkward if she tried to seduce Aemon. I get the feeling anyone can cast shadows, ShowMel just wants to find the most chiseled men to grind herself upon.

When she visited him in his cell? So I guess king's blood isn't required.

Well the show is the show and the books are the books. How many hotties did Scarlett O'Hara bone? Mel in the books was thoroughly confused with Jon and how he might be Azor Ahai. In the show she's just kinda like "you have power." The writing purpose was to tie in with Rhaegar/Lyanna and make the viewer wonder why Mel might think that. I'm not sure D&D, et all thought it out much more than that.
