If the show stops entertaining me. I can't imagine there's any one deal breaker that could do it. I'm more of a plot kinda guy than a favourite character kind of guy, and anyway, there's so many characters I find interesting. If Stannis dies I'll be very sad though. Also, people hoping for a heroic death for Stannis are kidding themselves. He'll die a pathetic, humiliating or pointless death, like basically all the major characters in this series. Please don't let Stannis die of a fart attack.

Another thing - if Stannis agrees or doesn't stop the burning of Shireen then that is it and I'm only gonna see Stephen's scenes from then on

Stannis slaps the shit out of Selyse, thus making her fall to the snow. Then Davos will kill Mel.

Horizon not looking good for the Tyrell. If half the Tyrells die this season and LSH is not in, and Stannis loses the battle of ice (there's a lot of ifs here) I think all the hype in me will be gone, even so I might not stop watching, but let's say I'll be a much less avid fan, stop participating on online forums and stuff.

If they bring Stoneheart then I'm immune to everything I don't care if Olly teleports and stabs Stannis while the burping whores burp Rains of Castamere and Brienne sees a candlelight IN THE BLIZZARD while Tyene whips out her tits

Tough question for me because I can talk brave and say I won't spoiler things or that I'll be 'outraged' about something - but then I never follow through with my words. Mostly firecracker noise. Soooo...
I guess if I had to pick one thing that might really just piss me off enough to say I'm done, it would be Tyrion dying. I never thought I could handle anything bad happening to Sansa, Arya or Jon Snow, but they've all had quite a bit of trauma and I'm still watching / rooting for them. I'd also be like "WTF is the point!" if Bran doesn't end up being important or just fades away into a tree like Bloodraven I guess. But even with all that, it would probably take complete annihilation for me to stop watching or reading. If it's just going to be White Walker Apocalypse then screw that.

408 was my Red Wedding moment but nothing could make me stop watching now. I've changed my avi in memory of the one and only Viper

Whatever blood magic Carice uses, she needs to share. She is a stunning woman. As for me, all of my favorite characters are dead. And I'm still here. And I'll be here crying about them until the bitter end.

I don't think anything could really make me stop watching. I used to say that if TV got ahead of Martin's books, I'd stop watching until the books came out, but I know I'd never be able to follow through with that, especially since this season there are so many fun things that weren't actually in the books (yet). I will, however, be devastated when it's all said and done and both the books and TV series are over. I'll be in withdrawal for months, maybe years. I shudder just thinking about it.

If we see The Lady, I can have all Tyrells executed by Evil Lancel in one episode, Littlefinger can talk with whatever accent he likes, Ramsay can be King in the North, PLOT TWIST Olyvar is Aegon

To follow up - naming finale what they name it and disappointing me again will probably do the trick too.

I'll only stop watching/reading if they discover the ruins of the Statue of Liberty or if aliens invade Westeros. However, if the story ends with Jon and Dany marrying and ruling together with Tyrion as their Hand, the three of them as the three heads of the dragon, I swear I will burn the books and send the ashes to GRRM. I don't know what's the equivalent to that in my outrage against D&D and HBO, but I'm not burning my TV!

I just hope you people don't stop posting. I'm a LSH fan too (she's not my fav, but I've been looking forward to her...such a sweet heartache) but I tend to forgive and move on quickly after a show disappointment *cough* Jaime/Cersei rape botch *cough*.
