So what? I was just pointing out that Euron isn't confirmed for this season, but next. But she asked if that means Yara appears this season? I didn't get what Euron being confirmed for Season 6 had to do with her appearance. |

Lots of great speculation in this thread. I didn't weigh in a few days ago ... still thinking and trying to figure out the last three episodes. I think sometimes we jump to conclusions too soon in the season so I wanted to wait. I went ahead and voted For The Watch as the event that "breaks the internet" even though it's a known entity from the books and I'd hoped there would be some sort of massive reveal none of us saw coming because the writers have info from GRRM on TWOW stuff we don't have and won't get anytime soon. I suppose it's still possible they're going to throw us for a loop with something else they've managed to keep under wraps but HBO has had a bad track record with spoilers this season so I don't see that as likely. (ie Stoneheart or something of that magnitude)  |

The Night's King actor is in, and I'm pretty sure anything involving him is in book spoiler territory. He was credited in finale for a while on imdb but I think he only appears in Hardhome |

It's going be the walk of shame. And we will have an entire off season discussion of whether GOT is misogynist and likes to sexually humiliate women. Even though they showed the High Septon being given the same punishment, it won't matter. The "GOT is sexist, misogynist narrative has been established and the critics will run with it." I predict at least 2 other websites/podcasts will announce they will no longer follow the show.

I should clarify that I don't actually think age is the most important factor here. It's just that a lot of people don't learn to see shades of grey in issues until they get older, hence the "baby feminists" thing. Some people are "old" right from the beginning.
I was pissed about the Jaime/Cersei scene, actually. I hated the way it was done, but I didn't call anyone a rapist or make broad sweeping generalizations about people's motives.

This isn't the right thread for it but, while y'all are venting, I'll report that I just ventured into the Doom of Valyria (AFOIAF) and saw that on the "ranting and raving" thread Le Cygne and Modesty Lannister are discussing, as if it were a sensible interpretation of things, that David Benioff is jealous of NCW's good looks and thus purposefully makes Jaime a greyer character than in the books...for some reason...
I mean, WHAT THE FUCK! I'm so glad I left that goddamn site! The posters there have seriously gone off the deep end. |

FTW. I do have doubts though, because it won't break the bookwalkers. So I wonder if they'll kill Stannis and thus do a double shock to the system. That WOULD break a bit the net since book readers all know that Jon resurrects but know nothing about Stannis being killed now. I do have to say that killing Stannis when Dillane simply kills it with every damn scene he has, is a damn shame! The man is a freaking scene stealer. His character should be allowed to live just because he's an asset like no other to the show!
I think it is time to freak out. I'll just let myself out. /rant over

Although I ventured today thinking maybe someone has some cool insight into "Is LS coming" gate and I didn't found one reasonable post other than a poster, Domarion is his name I think. I don't know how the book section of the board is but the show's section is fucking dead and rotting and reeking. Also Benioff is a good looking guy banging his hot wife.
