I can only hope that "breaking the internet" means episode ten is going to piss off the book readers and shock the unsullied. Or it could just be someone hyping the show.
Time will tell.

There was also some comment from Liam to the effect that the writers of whatever-this-shocker-is should see a psychiatrist. In my wishful thinking, Mel tries to burn Shireen, Davos kills Mel (sorry, konradsmith!) and smuggles Shireen aboard Sam's boat just as its departing for Oldtown. That last makes me harken back to Davos doing the same thing for Gendry. (And, btw, wherefore art thou, Gendry?)

This could tie in with Selyse crying in the snow - with her treating Shireen like shit all of her life until she is about to lose her. I do think Shireen will die; the whole Stannis "you are the Princess Shireen" scene with Shireen sets up her death. I don't think Mel will die, perhaps Stannis will imprison her or something, or if Jon is AA perhaps she is NN and will die at his hands. Though I would almost put money on it being something to do with FTW though, be it the actual stabbing or the aftermath in the attempt to bring him back (Shireen sacrifice). Though, I really like the theory (in the book) that LSH is continuing North, will find out about Jon's parentage and give her life for his; sad I have no LSH to get hyped about it in the show .

Mel will outlive Stan. I'd bet a lot on that.

Difficult decision mentioned in ep.9 synospis is not the burning of Shireen. It's not a difficult decision at all. If that red bitch suggests it this is gonna happen: At least I hope so, but really I cannot imagine them doing this or him even considering it. Yes, it would show how serious Stannis is about defeating WW but holy hell would the character forever be a villain in the eyes of the audience then. It's not a good story telling where two parties involved are hated. I have absolutely no idea what the hell Melisandre and Selyse are doing - on the photos Melisandre looks smug and Selyse looks devastated. I imagine it may be them burning Shireen but no way is Stannis there when it happens

Selyse would do anything for the Lord of Light and doesn't really love Shireen; but may only see her love for her when she is burning.

The choice could be Melisandre saying they need to burn Shireen in order to win the war and if Stannis' doesn't do it, she's going to abandon his cause because he isn't a true believer. Stannis makes the tough decision to allow Mel to leave him and that gets her back to the Wall for the finale.
Or it could be a dozen other things but Mel telling Stannis she would abandon him would certainly give him pause even if at the end of the day, he wouldn't burn Shireen.

If Selyse agrees to burn Shireen, she's gonna top Joffrey and Ramsay in terms of most hated character ever. Leave Shireen alone!

At this point I'm really thinking the whole burning Shireen thing is a giant red herring and we need to be more concerned about Stannis kicking it or Davos--especially with Crazy McFlayer Ramsay out there.

Well she had one good moment - talking about Stannis shooting birds for her At this point I'm really thinking the whole burning Shireen thing is a giant red herring and we need to be more concerned about Stannis kicking it or Davos--especially with Crazy McFlayer Ramsay out there. Having Ramsay rape Sansa was mad. Having Ramsay rape Sansa AND kill either of these two is just borderline psychotic. I don't think D&D are there yet When the most likeable thing your character has done is put some stillborn babies in jars, then you've got a problem. Selyse seriously needs a psychologist, instead she found a religious fanatic who also bangs her husband. Who wouldn't

Who wouldn't They also telegraphed every horrible thing Ramsay has done, "If you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." And I hate to say it, but Shireen being burned/killed would not necessarily be that shocking. Most Unsullied I know think that is what is going to happen.

Haha, it's quite strange for me, Dillane being the same age as my dad, but true, Mel has a good taste in men.

The show actually going there would make it shocking. Sansa arrived to WF in 5x03 yet when she was raped by Ramsay and the show actually went there, look what happened.

I think Jon "dying" and Dany facing a dothraki horde with Drogon is enough to break the internet.

I'd love it if Mel tried to burn Shireen and it didn't work. The look on Mel's face would be hilarious.

The only thing that could break MY internet is Still, regarding Unsullied, I think the WoS, FTW, Daenerys' announcement to go to Westeros and Sansa's escape from Winterfell should be enough. Also, we might have some sort of Varys' monologue to Corpse!Kevan, when he reveals his plan to be something entirely different than we expect. Like if he is preparing the realm for a WW invasion (I know nobody likes this theory, I'm just giving an example don't judge me). If the season ends with Jon "dead", Cersei broken, Sansa with Stannis, Dany going to Westeros and Varys back in the game, it could be the best finale we've ever had. (4x10 had everything to be perfect as well, but they messed it up by rushing through Tywin's death, and no )
