Does he say why he wonders if it's the only time they'll be in costume together? Meaning in promo photos or actually in the show? I mean, I'm guessing because this was written last year before Jon's resurrection - they're going for ambiguity since it's assuming Jon is dead, right? Am I missing something on that? As for those particular costumes, no I don't think we'll see Dany with Jon in his Night's Watch Blacks. Sadly as good as Kit looks in Black, his watch is now over.  I do like the fact the show-runners themselves suggested the promo shot as "Ice and Fire" though so we know they got the memo early on.  I think he was wondering that because Jon died, I don't think it was related to the two not coming together again. And sadly yes, we won't see them in those costumes together but that's alright, i like Jon's current costume, although, I'm not too fond of Dany's. She usually has great costumes but this new one is not doing it for me. yeh thats one of my favourite photoshoots  Look at how cute they are, this was just after season 1 during season 2 filming i think.  The way Kit looks at Emilia is just beyond me, he's obviously in love with her  plenty material for you @moiaf  As adorable as they are together they are just good friends. Where I would like to see them together is in the story. There I think they'll have a very ice and fire relationship. First ice then fire. Mwahahahaha |

Jon and Dany have now one over their big 'enemy' !
Loved this episode, it was just pure Fire and Ice
The parallel was very clear this episode, Dany wanted to rush into the battle and destroy everyone but then chose to listen to advice and play it smart. Jon was the opposite, very calm and calculated before but let anger take him over and rush into battle.
