Pretty funny--over at The Board That Shall Not Be Named, they're discussing the map markers on Stannis' maps and on Roose's maps. They've noticed a difference, ala this post: Haha, so Roose is using 4 flaming heart markers to signify however many troops Stannis has, but Stannis, specific as he is about things, is more correctly using 2 flaming heart markers and 2 sellsword markers.

Bumping this thread because we'll probably need it this week.
Getting worried now mostly because the tent thing is happening in 9 and we know the track record of that. If Ramsay gets away with burning the tents I'll be pissed. I wonder if Mel will be there or if she'll have left by then? After this Mel will definitely want to burn Shireen for uh luck I guess. Ugh.

I wonder if Stannis glamoured one of his random soldiers as Shireen and sent the real Shireen to the Wall with Davos.
Sorry I am still in denial that this happened.

I still like him.
I pretend that Mel gave him one of those potions that can make men do anything she talked about in 4x07.

Davos would really make a good king. Well tbh he would be Westeros's best option. Davos > Stannis > Dany > other claimants

His sense of duty is so strong that he could be a good king. A shit father and not a good human being but a good king. He would clean corruption, defeat the WW and rule justly.. but he won't. The fall of Stannis Baratheon has begun.

He shouldn't have any kind of power. He's horrible.

Now the only ones left for me to root for are LSH and the Tyrells Bookwise, though, I still like him. Regardless of what D&D say, I will only judge bookStannis after (if) he kills Shireen

I think it is safe to say that book Stannis won't burn Shireen.

It's not safe to say that at all. We really don't know - all we have to go on is what Benioff said and that leans towards him doing it. But we still don't know either way.

Shireen is at the Wall and Stannis is at Winterfell. If Stannis takes part in Shireen's burning, it will be against the WW, what is nearly at all that bad.

So you agree he could still do it then? I never said anything about the context, I have no idea about that.
