I think Varys might kill her at the end of the season. It seems likely that she'll be the one running Kings Landing at that point, not Kevan. It would be a sad scene, since Varys and Olenna did actually like each other. And Olenna's death would deliver the book 5 epilogue gut-punch in a way that Kevan's death never could. But since they bothered to re-introduce Kevan, that probably means Olenna is safe for now. I also had that feeling during this week's episode. Hope we are proven wrong!

I so do not want the Queen of Thorns to die! It was great to have her back on the show tonight and being her usual saucy self! They've only had a few misses with character casting and a lot of spot-on ones like Lady Olenna. She has some of the best lines in the show, she's brilliant! She should be running King's Landing but I don't think she'd want to - it stinks too much!

And did you notice that her scene was with Cersei was nearly set up as the one with Tywin?
I loved this scene.
I don't think they're going to kill her off just yet. They need her as a judge on Cersei's trial. The looks reminded me of that famous line in "The Phantom of the Opera" "So there is to be war between us" when Loras and Marge got arrested.
