I thought this was the best written episode so far and it's by Bryan Cogman. We shall have to see what next week brings since Cogman wrote that. I wonder if D&D 'drift' more now that the show has gotten to be rodeo bull ride for them? I am guessing that E8 and E9 will be barn-burners and that gets D&D's juices going. What think? Cogman should be given more episodes? Either Dave Hill improves or they get another script-er.

It looks awesome, they really should have used some better camera work in this scene to grasp the scope of this and show how many more there were

That site konrad linked has a good Interview with Iwan Rheon as well. It's interesting to get his perspective on Ramsay's internal thoughts and motivations. He's clearly threatened Walda and Roose Jr. in there too. Eek!

Say! I might have missed a discussion here. Was not there supposed to be a Ding How! Gak! mind spinning scene this episode? Didn't see anything.

Hi everyone! So good to see you all! What can I say that hasn't already been said? I loved this episode! Valaryia was amazing! Dany's dragons were cool. Interesting direction they're taking her. I suppose they've decided to have her embrace her fire and blood now rather than in the desert. And Winterfell had me on the edge of my seat. I haven't caught up with this thread yet so forgive me if it's been discussed already but is the consensus that the woman who went to Sansa is working with The North/Brienne or a trick from Ramsey. I'm inclined to say of the North since I can't imagine what Ramsey could hope to gain from Sansa being snared in a trick of his.

The summary for episode 507 spoils that by saying "Brienne waits for a signal", which means that she's waiting to see candlelight up in the Broken Tower, meaning the older serving woman and her have communicated.

I'm so glad y'all are so on top of the summaries and blurbs out there because I can't keep up on all of them or sorting it all out. This is like a clue game or puzzle! We speculated correctly then that Brienne was somehow in league with the old woman inside who is passing info via the old man at the Inn or wherever. They've got a North Remembers league going on. How do you think they will handle here and Pod getting in or do you think as we've speculated, that only Pod will go in as the Bard or something?

I'd seen that but have been hearing rumors and began to worry. As I said, I can't imagine what Ramsey would hope to gain by pulling such a trick other than the psychological torture. I'm very curious what will happen in the next 2 episodes. BTW, nice to see you, Konrad

When they jump off the wall she'll escort them to safety (which I think will be Stannis's camp). Pod, I guess, could jump with them or perhaps die like those wilding girls who helped Reek'n'Jeyne.

Someone at another site juxtaposed the Catelyn-tower shot in S1 with the Sansa-tower shot.

The older Sophie gets, the more she starts to resemble Michelle Fairley. Spooky good casting there.

These are some great shots btw, the cinematography similarities are really cool. BTW, I posted my analysis of Meereen over on Reddit if anyone wants to read it. It might also go up on Westeros.org if it ever gets approved. I'd post it here too but it's hard to keep track of all the grammatical revisions that I make over time. www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/comments/35zims/spoilers_all_a_lengthy_analysis_ii_why_meereen_in/

I thought Joseph looked exactly like how a Stark should look, as described by GRRM in the books.

Speaking of which, I have no idea how Martin plans to pay off the long disappearance of Benjen (if at all) but the show should really find a way to do so regardless. It's really annoying that this was an open plot thread that no one seems interested in following through on. If he's dead, fine, let's at least find that out.
