[BOOK SPOILERS] 5x09 Episode speculation

Yeah - show fans have come to expect something dramatic whenever there's a GoT wedding, haha. 

I do not think they're going to show the wedding or maybe they decide to ditch it altogether since in the books it never mattered anyways after Dany took off and we know Barristan locked him up just before the end plus everyone was suspecting him of stuff, his time on the planet seemed pretty short at that point. I think he's going to get killed on the show to wrap that up tidily without them marrying. The marriage of duty didn't work with the Harpies anyways. 

With Barristan gone, everyone here speculates that Tyrion will take over the role of taking down Hizdahr. Not killing him but at least locking him up perhaps with some reveals that he's in on the harpy coup at Daznak's? Tyrion if anyone could pull that off in the right way.

Also, it's cool that during Dany and Tyrion's first date conversation while discussing Hizdahr, Tyrion mentions that his own sister married for political reasons and then had her king-husband killed. Dany then says "Perhaps it won't come to that" which causes Tyrion to crack a smile and proclaim that maybe she is who he is hoping she is or something like that. This felt like the perfect set up to foreshadow Hizdahr's convenient removal from Planetos.  

I was pretty excited to hear about that, too.  I'm not a big fan of horse racing (although I do love horses and love riding), but I was born in '81 and I've never seen a Triple Crown Winner.  So it's pretty amazing ^^

We've only had two so i believe Dany and Hizdahr will get married. But they'll go straight to Daznak to celebrate and Dany will fly off so they never consumate the marriage.

It does look as if the Sons of the Harpy will attack at Daznak's and attempt to assasinate Dany so that Hizdahr can be King. however obviously this fails and Dany ends up flying away.

I think Hizdahr will be revealed if not this episode then next, to be the Son of the Harpy. due to the soundtrack name, from the samples released.

I don't think Dany will come back to Meereen until next season since her landing in the Dothraki Sea with Drogon and meeting the khalasar will probably be one of if not her last scene this season, so I doubt there would be time for her to come back. Hizdahr will either be arrested or killed, I can't see how he would assist Tyrion in taking control of Meereen if he's revealed as the Harpy. 

The synopsis for the finale says Dany is surrounded by strangers, so seeing her Khalasar would make sense. They probably won't formally introduce the leader until next season. Going by the Season 6 casting calls, the fierce warrior being Khal Jhaqo wouldn't surprise me. She'll probably see them in the distance after Drogon burns a few of their horses. This has been discussed several times, but physically showing her landing I'm not sure about because it could end up looking cartoonish, but I guess if it's only a few seconds, it wouldn't look bad. 

I'm more curious about how Braavos plays out though. I would rather have them show a scene with Mace and Tycho discussing the crown's debt than just leaving their conversation vague. Then it could transition to Arya following Meryn to the brothel.
