You'd rather we find out when it airs, eh bogden? I guess it's a pretty big deal of an episode, innit? I mean last time David Nutter did an episode nine...it was quite memorable. (Understatement alert).
It's definitely going to be memorable! No TrystAegon would also be preferable.  |

It's strange that 509 still only says Adult Content and Adult Language. We know with Daznak's and Meryn Trant going to the Braavosi Brothel that there will be Graphic Violence and Nudity.

It's strange that 509 still only says Adult Content and Adult Language. We know with Daznak's and Meryn Trant going to the Braavosi Brothel that there will be Graphic Violence and Nudity. Yeah, that is odd. I guess it's plausible that the brothel scenes could avoid nudity but given what we know about Daznak's from this album imgur.com/a/Ar4Nl and from the set footage of the people on fire etc. there's no way that doesn't warrant a rating for violence. |

I guess it's possible that both scenes are in 510 (which I strongly doubt) or that they have no nudity in them (which is possible, the girls are all clothed in those two images after all) AND they didn't seem to consider the fighting in ep. 506 to be violence in their rating for that episode...but I dunno. From the imgur album I posted alone, there will be quite a bit of blood in the Pit, which I think is what demands that something be rated for violence on American TV. |

You lucky you, I wish I had off, too  Next week, at Thursday, I have a big year project *nervous*, and actually have to learn and prepare now the whole time... (like last year, when I graduated school just two days after the finale, and had to learn for my exams the weeks before)... Sigh, I hate this timing so much... If it helps getting off work where I work is hell - my boss always stares at my aplication for good 20 seconds before signing it and I'm fairly certain in the time I'm absent they will come looking for me acting outraged that I dared to take two days off (my first days off in 2 months) School is awesome, having a job sucks I have not had leave this whole year But that is because I am saving it to go to Italy next month and saving some for Dec hols. I work from home 2 days a week so I sometimes consider those days off hehehehehehehehehheh |

Since this episode is 53 minutes, I think we'll probably see about 20 minutes in Meereen, and 8-10 minutes in Braavos (Arya's kill attempt on the Insurance Salesman, Mace and Meryn arriving to meet with Tycho, Arya following them, Meryn traveling to the brothel, Arya going inside and eventually killing him) and then the rest divided amongst Stannis's camp, Dorne, and The Wall. |

Arya killing Meryn should be fun. I for one really like Braavos in both the books and the show but her taking another name off her list will do a lot of good at shutting down the "Arya's arc is boring this year" talk that's become all too common of late. It should also be one of the best sequences of her overall storyline. It's interesting that people are calling it boring because while it is a slow progression, I think it's fascinating. There needs to be build up into becoming a faceless man, it doesn't just happen. Also out of all of the storylines this season, Aryas is probably the most faithful to the books. |

I guess that could be why they used Lhara again. I'm not sure if she learned how to change faces yet though. When she's walking through the canals, we see her as Arya, but she's taking on a different persona. |

I guess that could be why they used Lhara again. There was a character cast for the Braavos storyline that I think will show up in this episode, this guy credited as "Brusco bouncer". My guess is that when Arya sees Ser Meryn go into the brothel she knows Lhara works at, she tells this bouncer/doorman (called Brusco in the same way that Arya's clam-seller disguise is called Lanna and Gemita Samarra's Braavosi prostitute character is called Brea, to reuse Braavosi names from AFFC and ADWD in different contexts) that she has something for Lhara, which could potentially gain her access to the place and give her her chance to off Ser Scowlsalot. |
