I'm not a Mod here, just me. But I say this: sati started this board and we all love being here. Piracy is a crime, a Federal felony, with international ramifications, and HBO has the $$ and the muscle to make it stick. sati is an attorney. Would any of us here risk her law license, her career, should a claim be brought against her that she opened this new site and made it known we're wide open to piracy? I don't think so. Just my 2 cents. I'm pretty sure where I live even if you kill someone there is a chance you are not losing any privilages - only half joking there. Many places in the world only forbid uploading, not downloading, certainly not viewing. This is a closed board, and btw we already risked more discussing leaked spoilers ^^ But....let's not make a mess here. I'm gonna start ep. discussion thread for 1-4 eps for all of us to vent if we chose to watch these eps. Here is just the speculation for the rest of the reason. MOD - But I am gonna ask you not to discuss the alleged files or send links here. If you have to, use PM. |

Great. Now I'll have to wait another month for new episodes ...  It was fun, though, and although some deviations from the books bothered me to some extent, overall, I think this season is already more entertaining than the previous one. That being said, I really wish the leak wouldn't have happend. Knowing that the episodes were so close within my reach, made it impossible for me to resist, but yeah, I think it would have been better for everybody if there had been no leak. |

I just realized how serious this situation is for HBO. So, 4 episodes have been leaked? That's nearly half a season. How is it possible that so many episodes have fallen in the wrong hands?

I'm not surprised at this mess, come to think of it. I am surprised a techno idiot like me could find anything, though. I get the feeling they gave out screeners to more people than usual.....spent their promo time on the industry and not on us. Serves them right. Just kidding really, I wish, in a way......I hadn't found them. ETA: And, I'll go peruse the other threads now. |

What a way to screw up The funniest bit is how they hyped that the premiere is gonna be all over the world at the same time But they often say how they don't give a shit about piracy and yes when it comes to money it's not gonna affect them at all. And since it's a business, money is what matters to them. But seriously sending out almost half of the season to begin with seemed kinda insane to me. 1-2 episodes tops, especially when most of the reviewers wrote kinda in general to begin with. |

Out all morning so only just heard about this screener leak malarky but safe to say I'll be giving them a miss. It's the one show I can actually do this week to week excitement business for, no way am I giving that up only to have to wait ANOTHER month for a fresh episode. It is a shame, though.

They have a tendency to show things in the previously on that spoiler the episode sometimes, such as when they showed Stannis, Davos, Mel back in Dragonstone. However, Dillane, Cunningham, and van Houten appeared in the opening credits, so I'm pretty sure Unsullied can come to the conclusion that they would be in the finale. ... The surprise was still big: (I love this video so much, lol, the guy at 01:55 min. always cracks me up the most ) Someone in the comments said "No one expects the Stannis inquisition!"
