Didn't anyone else pay attention to the map? There's a Baratheon map piece (I can't remember the proper name for these things) above Last Hearth. I wonder if the map was arbitrarily arranged or if Stannis actually got the support from the Umbers. If it's the latter, how would Rickon fit into this as he went to the Umbers back in S3? Maybe they'll hint at the GNC actually happening? That would be awesome! They could have the Greatjon joining Stannis's war council. I think that Last Hearth has just yielded to Stannis/ or allowed them to march through or something like that. Even if he gets support from the Umbers, it's very unlikely that we'll see any of them. Hmm.. the show is giving Stannis a bigger army than Roose. I remember that they were equal in the books. There will be heavy casualties before they even reach Winterfell. So.. Ramsay starts to "bully" Sansa already in the next episode? Oh boy. Barry is as good as dead it seems. |

Roose is still protected by the walls of Winterfell, which are allegedly strong enough for 500 men to hold against ten thousand. |

I think you're referring to a quick camera pan over Stannis' war map with all the sigils, yes? |

That's all the same scene of the army, what you're seeing is like an overpass over a gate. Similar to the area where Pyp was shooting crossbow bolts in the battle of 4x09. |

That Tyrion/Jorah scene looks like it could be good. It'l probably be the classic misdirection of looking at the dragon and thinking that what the scene is all about and that what hey have to fear and then the stone men come and do their thing and its bath time. Especially as we've been forewarned about it by Stannis.
I am quite excited about Stannis riding out already, it's a bit sooner than I imagined but I suppose there is quite a bit to cram in. I wonder when Mel leaves him or if indeed she does. Also I wonder what will happen with Shireen, if they keep showing her and flesh her out even more I will start to worry about someone trying to harm her. I'm still not convinced anything will happen to her but that doesn't mean people won't try. But with Mel not there it changes things a bit.
I'm surprised Barry was in the promo though considering he was the one I thought might live considering Grey Worm saved him, I thought he might linger a bit at least. Certainly leaves Dany bit lonely for a while but Tyrion and Jorah are coming and maye next season she'll have some Dothraki with her so they might be clearing the decks a bit to free up some space and also maybe to fit Hizdahr in a bit before the wedding to flesh him out a bit more.

Maybe he pushes Myranda out of the window and hence "remember what happens to people who bore me"? Myranda's around at least until 509, since she's credited as being in David Nutter eps. as well as Mylod (her 503 appearance) and Podeswa (505 and potentially 506 as well). |

That also confirms that she's at the foot of that same tower. |

I think Ramsay says 'you remember what happens to people who bore me' to Reek I do too.
My guess for 505 is that Sansa overhears Rams and Myranda going at it in the Jaime-Cersei-Bran tower and either he or Myranda spot her below and he chases after her (hence her running frightened in the promo) but the situation is somehow ameliorated before the wedding in the dinner scene we also see in the promo. Perhaps Roose or Reek intervene somehow?

The lack of Cersei in the promo is odd. There's no King's Landing at all, in either the episode summary or the promo. Could it skip the episode?

I guess it's also possible that Arya skips yet another episode. Poor Arya.

Is there any Dorne in this ep? I imagine it'll be quite heavy in episode 6, but so far Dorne has barely featured and its been quite underwhelming.

Poor Arya indeed. I guess though there's not much they can show of her that's interesting at the moment since they're sticking by her book arc pretty closely.

Yeah I didn't think so but there been so little of it so far I wondered if they might sneak a little scene in somewhere before we get episode 6 which seems Dorne heavy. Just to introduce the place a bit more before we jump into it. Although I'm oddly quite interested to meet Trystane and see what kind of fusion he is. So far Dorne has been so weird so it can't get much odder but it'll be interesting to see quite what role he'll have. |

It would make things much easier if we got the Previously On clips ahead of the episodes like we used to. Those used to fill in most of the blanks on the episode storylines covered.
