I don't think we'll see a Weirwood confession. I have a feeling it'll be Sansa.

The Weirwood confession seems like a longshot, I agree. But he's got Sansa to confess to so I think that makes more sense.

It's possible the Weirwood confession happens, but is saved for season 6. It could be one of the things Bran witnesses when he has his little travel through time moment.

Wasn't there Alfie saying that he is looking forward to confession tree thing? During Season 4?

Wasn't there Alfie saying that he is looking forward to confession tree thing? During Season 4? That was before they started filming. He was asked what he was most looking forward to and he said that he knew about that scene in the books and was looking forward to it, not that it was in. I still think it is though.

I still think it is though. Ah well. I hope it is in. I do too. I previously speculated (hoping) that maybe Sansa would somehow overhear him giving his confession to the tree and it would reinforce her will to escape and convince him to help. But now she's being kept under lock and key and guard surveillance so I guess that's not going to happen. Also, someone mentioned Bran and some connecting via the weir tree. Another thing I'd love to see but: given D&D don't 'like' doing vision/flashback scenes much (even though they technically did with the Cersei/Maggy opener scene) - do we really want to get our hopes up for Bran getting any love at all after this season's complete exclusion?

Anybody else think this episode has to be the spot for Varamyr? Yeah, he'll just be one of the Wildling chiefs, I imagine. Maybe with some animal in tow.

Grey Worm gonna spend the rest of the season in bed? Missandei will probably visit him again in this episode or the next, but yeah there's got to be more to his role if they kept him alive.

i thought the masters where going to try and kill the dragons but then they just end up releaseing the two in the tombs? i think this was just speculation. i have no idea if the dragons will even be released this season. but it could be grey worm or jorah who does it. jorah is doomed and grey worm seems like the type to sacrifice everything for dany after the 'shame' of the harpy attack.

I wonder about the release of Rhaegal and Viserion too. Thought it might be in E8 but now think it will not be until 10. Since the battle to break the siege of Meereen won't happen wonder what they will be doing? They delivered some entertainment value in Dance and even more in the battle. George has implied all three are there in the big show down in the story , CGI is gonna get expensive.

Maybe they just wanted to have more side characters around Dany for when she lands in Westeros. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in recovery most of the rest of the season. That said, is this show cruel enough to make him a cripple as well as a eunuch? Yes. Yes it is

I was thinking, if the Meereen arc extends into season 6, he may be that season's casuality in the hands of the SotH. I expected this plot to be over this season, but since it appears Dany will reunite with the dothrakis, maybe Tyrion and Jorah will be left dealing with the SotH. They have been set up as a huge threar, and showed up in only 2 episodes. I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted until mid-season 6 or something (when Dany returns to Meereen?)

Interesting I do think it's possible that will happen. It does make me question what will happen in the pit though. Will the Sons of the Harpy imprison Tyrion and the rest? Will they escape? I assume Hizdahr will reveal himself as the Harpy and take over the city. But then what will the Unsullied be doing? So many questions I also think it's possible that Dany won't actually fly away on Drogon, but will instead control Drogon and burn the fuck out of the Harpies? Because I can't see the whole thing with the Dothraki going down for some reason. It would be an efficient way of getting out of the city soon.

Even tho I don't know what George is going to do with the Unsullied , if they go with Dany, do they really want to make a new casting of a Unsull leader at this point? Not clear Jorah is gonna make it and doesn't seem they would take Darrio on as their new 'general'.

Has anyone thought that maybe Daario is the Harpy? Crackpot. Dany is the Harpy. She started an insurrection against herself. It's a Fight Club type deal.
