The Hibberd doesn't say McElhinney squawked about the early out. I am surprised , only three episodes?!

Okay - I don't think I can participate in the other board right now. The negativity and petty nitpicking is just too much.

Something is definitely off to the West of the Sunspear in the title sequence around the area of the Arbor.

Ser Barristan. This is the first time a 'major' character introduced from the prose story has been eliminated. Curious about Grey Worm now. From the leaked chapters of Winds of Winter we know Selmy and Grey Worm still have important roles to play , for a while at least. So this is kind of a anti-spoiler , we won't really know what happens to them till Winds comes out.

Did we get Dorne on the opening of episode 2? I don't remember it... And I loved seeing it on this one!
I liked the Jaime/Bronn talk, and have come to accept their mission to Dorne. I liked Jaime being resentful against Tyrion (it makes sense in the showverse, right? I mean why did Tyrion do that). Then, Cersei sending Lord Mace away was interesting as well. I'm liking how this guy portrays Mace Tyrell, he is way too idiot but it is interesting to watch. And I think the High Sparrow is fantastic. Perfect actor!
Everything was going well... Until the sparrows scene. Really, has nobody found it very cheesy? When they're killing those gay guys on the brothel "I can pay you" "you will pay us alright!", and stabs him. Come on, show. You can do better than this, a lot better. The other scenes were fine though, specially the one in which Tommen sees himself powerless in front of the Faith militant.
The rest of the episode was good. I don't like the Sand Snakes and Evil Ellaria, but I'm getting used to it. Team Stannis just gets better and better... Stannis, Shireen, Selyse and Melisandre. The scenes with these guys are just way too good.
And RIP Ser Barristan. That was a stupid change I think. If you want to kill someone, kill Grey Worm. But Barry is just so awesome... And he died in then first fight he ever got in the show. That was sad.

I don't even want to talk about it right now.

^^^ Yeah Sparrows seemed cheesy to me too. Carvings on the forehead? What is this Fight Club?
Shame they wasted Barristan. I feel bad for the actor. Imagine having barely any lines and being stuck in the background until you have 1 fight scene and die? Ugh.

Expected a brief scene with Varys , he can't be gone till episode 10? Or till next year?

I was surprised they cast a minor speaking role for the Faith Militant 'squad leader' on the steps, figured it would be Lancel Lannister .

It's more likely now that they killed off Barristan to make room for Tyrion and to condense the Meereen storyline. In the books, Dany's chapters in Meereen kept dragging on and Barristan dying, even though it was a huge deviation, should drive Dany to realize that she needs to get the hell out of there.

So before Barristan got stabbed, what did he do to the Harpy on his left? The edit looked really weird.

So before Barristan got stabbed, what did he do to the Harpy on his left? The edit looked really weird. He struck at him with his sword as he was falling down. He started the motion with the camera at one angle and then they switched as he finished it. I agree it does look a little weird.

So before Barristan got stabbed, what did he do to the Harpy on his left? The edit looked really weird. I agree. Didn't understand that fight very well. Ser Grandpa had a beautiful death, with all that "sing for me" conversation with Daenerys, but still... he deserved better. He could have won at least one fight on the show. Even if he dies early in book 6, we saw him fighting that fighting pit champion on Hizdahr's room. We know he is a badass. But the show had him murdered by random goons I'm not saying the show should follow the books, it's just that Barry has been set up as this badass guy all along, and now I think he could've just been cut from the show.
