herocomplex.latimes.com/tv/game-of-thrones-gwendoline-christie-talks-briennes-journey-in-season-5/#/0I find this bit very interesting: What is the status of Brienne and her oath to Lady Stark?
Brienne actually continues [on her quest to keep her promise]. She swore an oath to Renly who was killed in front of her and Catelyn Stark was there and witnessed the murder, and they are very much united from that moment.
Then she’s with Catelyn Stark who she swears the oath to return the Stark girls and Brienne never wavers from that. So do not be afraid. She stays true to the oath that she pledges, but what’s so wonderful about “Game of Thrones” is that these characters are thrown around and placed in circumstances where it becomes harder and harder to upkeep their words.
I think we're definitely going to see Brienne having to choose between trying to get revenge on Stannis and helping Sansa.

I like Brienne and Gwen is terrific but honestly the deed itself and the reasoning behind it would make her my number 1 enemy

I think they set up the her-killing-Stannis thing so obviously in ep. 503 that, really, she has to decide against it. It's like Sam saying "I promise I won't die," in ep. 409. If he'd died that would've been too obvious but it set up that expectation just so it could subverted. Also, I've said this before, but very seldom in GoT do people get to kill exactly who they set out to or want to.

Renly had the best crown. Why did the fabulous crown have to go to the gay?

Renly had the best crown. Why did the fabulous crown have to go to the gay? I just read this and it sounded super-homophobic. Oops. Ftr, what I meant was it sucks that the gay one had to have the most flamboyant crown (because yay stereotypes). Ftr I'm 100% and would let Renly do all kinds of things to me all day and all night.
