Simple question! Who do you think will be sitting on the Iron Throne at the end of TWOW?

fAegon, with Dany's imminent invasion to worry about.

Hmm had a thought. I don't think that fAegon will make it to the throne. If the show is anything to go by (which is to be seen) fAegon is cut, so he must not do something as big as sit the throne. If he did either they'd have to skip that in the show altogether or replace him with someone else.
If the book goes Tommen>fAgeon>Dany the show would have to go Tommen>???>Dany or straight up Tommen>Dany.
Or my personal favorite Tommen>Stannis>The End.

I expect the books will go: Tommen > Myrcella > fAegon > Dany > Jon ( ) And eliminating fAegon just means that the show can jump straight from Myrcella to Dany. I guess they could also skip over Myrcella, but they included the "gold will be their crowns" part of the prophecy, so I'm thinking not.

Myrcella has to sit on the Throne, yes? in the light of gold heads/funeral clothes in the prophecy? Or does the thing about her crowned in Dorne count? I'm so confused

I think by the end of TWOW the Iron Throne will be destroyed by Cersei making King's Landing with the wildfire catche.

At the end of WoW? That's tough. I think Tommen, then he dies and it's left up in the air.
I can't decide!

Who would the throne rightfully go to if Tommen dies anyway?

It would technically be Stannis right? Wouldn't it only go to Myrcella if there were no male heirs left?
I don't know how I think will be on the throne at the end of TWOW, there are just two many variables at this point haha.

Who would the throne rightfully go to if Tommen dies anyway? Myrcella. The Baratheons aren't using the Targ inheritance laws

I have no idea at all. At the end of the opus, couldn't the character preeminent in defeating the Others sit the throne by acclamation of the people... rules of succession be damned? I mean assuming the battle with the others is as horrific as I believe it will be portrayed.

I think following people will sit in the Iron Throne before the saga is over, though not necessarely in that order; Aegon Targaryen, Euron Greyjoy and maybe Daenerys Targaryen.

By the end TWOW? I will say Myrcella. I think at the end of it all, there is no Iron Throne.

I don't know how I think will be on the throne at the end of TWOW, there are just two many variables at this point haha. Stannis is an attainted traitor in the eyes of Tommen's court, so I'm sure they consider Myrcella to be Tommen's heir. (Just as Stan offered to re-instate Renly as his heir if he bent the knee, indicating he thought Renly had foregone his rightful claim through his rebellion.) I think all three of the false Baratheons do have to sit the throne, Myrcella's 5-minute reign with Arianne would only count if Darkstar actually killed her.

I think Cersei will have burned King's Landing, so no Iron Throne to seat. But Aegon will have the strongest army, and Euron will still have the Seastone Chair, and maybe be allied with Highgarden

Just a quick note.
There will be an IT in the end. And someone's gonna sit on that "chair". GRRM confirmed (Emmy panel 2013) that when he and some of the cast members were asked about their picks for the endgame.
