I really liked Batman's costume in The Dark Knight because they made it seem practical and influenced by combat armor used by the military, but also flexible enough for a person to move around and fight crime in. Even though some of these costumes are supposed to be armor of some type, I think they end up looking like plastic/rubber costumes. I think that's from one of the recent Arkham games. That one is Arkham Origins or Arkham Knight. I get your point, but Thor is not a good example. He's supposed to look goofy considering he's a space god. Still, that chest plate is supposed to look leathery, but it looks like rubber. Either way there's no excuse for this:

You know what would happen too. Manganiello's MO is being hot. The only reason Alcide stuck around for so long in True Blood was because of eye candy. His character actually contributed nothing after S3 Him > Bill. And most of the people on that show Well Batfleck is all about fanservice Throw Jared in there. Don't fight him, because good God would that be sad: but he can watch while being naked and film it or something. I need to stop typing

There is a vote for best Joker over at the Hype and no one voted for boo boo Why do people even do this? His work was butchered by WB. It's not fair. IT'S NOT FAIR

IT'S NOT FAIR Well it isn't fair to compare him to people who had way more screen time. I guess Ledger won that one? Honestly I would have left him off the list until he did more work as the Joker. As for Joe M possibly playing Deathstroke, well, he definitely has the height and body for it. I did not find him charismatic in True Blood but also, TB saddled him with a dumb storyline and then when he had the chance to show some charisma they had to start up with Sookie and Bill again and killed him off... I preferred any guy on that show over Bill. I thought he had some good comedy chops in Magic Mike (the first one). I think he's a lot like Chris Hemsworth MUCH better for comedy than drama.

It's hard to compare anyone to Ledger, he was perfect.

It's hard to compare anyone to Ledger, he was perfect. And he was in a good movie not scripted and directed by a moron

I'd have preferred someone older, but it's not so much the casting I'm concerned about with DC - most of the actors are fantastic - the big problem for me is the writing of some of the characters. From mopey Superman to murdery Batman to whatever the fuck Lex Luthor is. All I can do is pray they don't fuck with Deathstroke

So since Joker isn't going to show up until the Batfleck solo film, do we expect him to be largely the same as he was in Suicide Squad or do you think they'll tinker with him a bit?

It's hard for me to look at Heard without thinking of her getting all pissy Johnny gave her divorce money directly to charity himself. That costume does look badass though. Uncomfortable, but badass.

Not to be *that* DC fan, but, and correct me if I'm wrong, it feels like they have put more women in 5 movies than the MCU has in like 13. That's pretty cool I guess.

To be fair Mera's probably only gonna have like 1 or 2 lines in Justice League given how much they have to do, so she's really only a background character (for now; I'm sure she'll have a much more substantial role in Aquaman). Also DC tend to have more recognisable and famous female characters than Marvel. Wonder Woman ( who is now apparently a UN ambassador) is the obvious example, and basically anyone who knows enough about Batman probably knows about Harley. Before the whole MCU started, not many Marvel heroines were partucularly well-known. Black Widow? Scarlet Witch? Who? At the very least everyone would have heard about Wonder Woman, so it's no doubt she's introduced early on in the DCEU.
