I've been thinking about the DCEU a lot lately, and how they have such a wealth of characters to draw from. And they've already brought to life a bunch of amazing characters, and I want them to continue to to so. To keep myself entertained, I've started coming up with some actors for some currently uncasted roles. CATWOMAN The master thief and seductive social climber Selina Kyle is a must have for the DCEU. I'd like someone closer to Affleck's own age, to make any potential romance less creepy. My only pick is the one and only Eva Green. She's the full package. Beautiful, badass, and a great actor. JASON TODD The emo vigilante turned undead emo vigilante is a huge fan favorite, and there have already been hints of his existence in the DCEU, so it's really only a matter of time before he shows up. We need an actor younger than Batman and probably Harley, but older than the 11 year old Robins we get in the comics. A young man capable of being moody, yet charismatic, without coming off as cheesy. For whatever reason, I feel like WB will cast an unknown as Jason Todd, but for the time being, lets go with someone like Josh Hutcherson. He's the only "teen heartthrob" with a shred of talent and who also doesn't come off like a total scumbag, so he'd be a good fit. POISON IVY The seductive and lethal Batman villain has gotten a lot of attention lately, so I think it's only a matter of time before she shows up. I'm thinking an actress older than or at least as old as Batfleck. Idk why but she's always seemed very otherworldly and "above it all" to me, so I feel like a more mature actress will more effectively communicate that, as opposed to some 20 year old model turned actress (see Cara Delevigne). My choice is our very own beloved Carice Van Houten. We've seen her play a manipulative, enchanting red head before. She's capable of conveying a very ethereal persona, and she's gorgeous. Just what Ivy needs. I'm gonna add to this list, but I just wanted to get something started. What do you all think?

Excellent, excellent thread! Eva for Catwoman, definitely. She is an insanely popular pick among DC fans and I really hope if Catwoman shows up they get Green to play her. Don't give a shit about Jason, for me they could just have once scene of his death and that is it for this arc For Ivy either: or

I saw someone suggest the guy who plays the Mountian for Bane. I like that quite a lot.
Berenice Marlohe for Talia al Ghul or Lady Shiva.
Bryan Cranston for Mr. Freeze?

Honestly they need to focus on few characters in next few movies. Someone like Bane is not someone we need - I think Hardy already did everything you can possibly do with the character and unlike with The Joker there isn't any room for interpretation. Get Deadshot, Joker, Harley, Ivy, Catwoman, Penguin + Talia, maybe, and burn everything else down Two Face would be interesting but not even Nolan could make sense of this dude, the make up was just ridiculous

I love Eva Green.
I like Kate McKinnon , but recently she stole every scene she was in , couldn't take my eyes off her, she could play something.

Ben > Bale, tho Wow, Ben looks really sad there. Was he like that for the entire convention? I remember when there were a few directors in the running, Zack Snyder kind of stood out, but the others were mostly indie directors. Duncan Jones would have been interesting, but he didn't feel ready for such a high profile project.

Jared kinda looked this way too but I think maybe he was high on something or just rethinking his life choices when it comes to getting involved with DCEU but Affleck was straight up depressed. He looked more cheerful of Suicide Squad premiere and was super kind to the fans, but I suspect his mood was not that great by the time the movie was over

Affleck is a really talented director. He's not bad on the acting front, but I think he might be a better director than actor.
I totally agree with Eva Green as Selina Kyle. There can be no other.
My other casting wishes for DCEU would be to do a totally cool Batgirl (a complete upgrade from crap Alicia Silverstone was given in the Batman movie we shall not name) and cast Tatiana Maslany in the role. I know this DCEU has a dead Robin and I'm not sure which Robin the deceased one is supposed to be...but I'd say cast Richard Madden as either Nightwing or Jason Todd.
As for the antagonists for Batfleck...I'd like to see Harvey Dent/Two Face back. I feel like Nolan could have done so much more with Aaron Eckhart in that role and it was just cut short before anything could really happen. I liked the fact that Burton had cast Billy Dee Williams in that role way back in the day (but we never got to see his Two Face)...so in that vein, I say how about Idris Elba or David Oyelowo.
Batfleck could do something really cool with the Joker and Harley as well.

There is just something about him that screams 'fuck up' (that look in his eyes which I'm not surprised he has considering his personal issues and demons) that makes you wanna hug him Also anytime I get to remind people his massive tramp stamp I do: Two-Face in Nolan's movie wasn't given enough indeed and just felt like a plot point in the end. And the make up was just so stupid.

I think Bridget Regan could be a great Poison Ivy I don't know her but she certainly looks the part! She is on Jane the Virgin and Agent Carter, in both cases playing a villain, that's the main reason I thought about her
