Just gonna leave this here. I made this many years ago in the RPG-Maker 2k3. A lot of the sprites I pixel'd myself.

I am legit sad that I got an e-mail from Disney that the Lion King is playing in San Francisco.
Which is lovely for those in SF but does me no good in PHILADELPHIA.

This moment is magical. Love Christine's dress in this scene.

London has the lamest chandelier crash ever. The crash in most German productions is actually scary, especially if you sit right underneath it, which I have. We don't give a shit about safety.

Willemijn has been playing Elphaba for eight years. She's the first and only actress to ever play Elphaba in more than one language, in three to be exact, German, Dutch and English. First Germany, then the Netherlands, Broadway in 2013, West End in 2014 ... and this year she's back to West End. She was also the first Elphaba I've ever seen. I think it was 2008, in Stuttgart. I even met her at the stage door and had her sign my copy of the Wicked novel.

Phantom is coming to NYC. The tour production? That's kind of weird, Phantom has been running on Broadway since 1988. Anyway, if it is the tour production, I would strongly advise against watching it. It's ... not good, to put it mildly. Y'all should go watch the real deal on Broadway!

In the tour production, there is a moment during the Final Lair where the Phantom throws Christine onto a bed and starts dry humping her. It's the most bizarre thing ever. The Phantom is many things, but he's not a rapist. That scene makes it really hard to sympathize with him.
The staging is just terrible. There is no subtlety, everything is bright and colorful. It's actually very reminiscent of the Gerard Butler movie in that regard.

So, this is happening! I'm excited for this, Anastasia the movie has a phenomenal score. God, I hope it comes to Germany.
