GoT does inject some truly, surprisingly funny bits in amidst all the death and chaos.
For me, the Small Council Musical Chairs. It was hilarious, yet so beautifully choreographed that it was like an intricate dance number. B side-eyes C, C scowls at B, D fawns at A. Only A, Tywin Lannister, is soooo not involved in any of it. Beautifully laid out, perfectly filmed. I could watch it over and over and laugh out loud every time. |

I would say that The Hound, Olenna, and Bronn have the funniest lines in their scenes.
"Give me ten good men and some climbing spikes. I'll impregnate the bitch"
"What the fuck's a Lommy?"
"Your grandfather gave me necklace just like this one. My 51st name day" Throws the necklace into the bushes.
Robert Baratheon saying "I've been sitting' here for Days! Start the damn joust before I piss myself" and Tyrion's confession in the Eyrie are also pretty funny, but yeah the musical chairs one was hilarious. No dialogue, just the facial expressions.

I also really like the Lannister-Martell sass off at the Purple Wedding.

I know it's awful but I found the mock battle of the Wot5K at the PW hilarious. And Joffrey's enjoyment of it just cracked me up. I know, I'm terrible.
Also, I agree about Tyrion's confession at the Eyrie. Very funny scene.

Council chairs hands down. Some other stuff made me smile but that actually made me laugh. Some of Sandor's lines would be in second place though.

I think it was the same scene as musical chairs but the looks Varys and Tyron exchanged when LF was talking about Lysa were so funny  |

So many that have already been mentioned are my favorites. I also liked:
Bronn's "There's no cure for being a cunt" line
Varys' face at the Purple Wedding. (That entire wedding was comedy gold, honestly)
"NOT NOW MACE!"
"I know where to put it"
The giant shooting one of the night watchmen off the Wall. I shouldn't have laughed at that, but I did.

Some scenes I'd like to add. First. The SC meeting and Tywin telling Mace to fetch him ink and parchment. (Poor Mace.) Second. Jon's interrogation by Janos Slynt, Alliser Thorne and Maester Aemon. Ser Alliser asks how Aemon knows that Jon wasn't lying at them and Aemon's "I grew up in King's Landing!" Third: this gem from "Blackwater". |
