Beautiful locations. I think Almodovar del Rio would make a good Casterly Rock. I would have said Highgarden if it was a bit greener, but I suppose that can easily be overcome right? Caceras could be Oldtown I think. That island could work as part of the Citadel. Isn't Marwyn's tower set slightly apart and reached by a bridge? It doesn't look grand enough for it to be Highgarden to me. I always pictured Highgarden as a magnificent place full of splendour and decadence. It could make a good Rock though it looks more Dornish to me. Could we perhaps see the Sandsnakes and Co (and Dany whenever she lands) go to the other Dornish Houses? I would like to see that, but I doubt it. I agree. Remember Horn Hill? That was magnificent, so Highgarden should be even more spectacular. But I don't think we'll see Highgarden in show. Not everything will fit in seven hours.

Can't they just be included in the 2018 Emmys? As I wrote before I'm not a specialist, but I think yes- if show won't start before May it can't be in 2017 Emmy's, but could be nominee to 2018 edition.

So it's official now: 7 episodes and show return rather next summer than spring. I really like that they decided this and we finally have some more adequqte weather. They didn't say a word about filming in Croatia... That makes it ineligible for the Emmys, right? Probably yes, I'm not a specialist with Emmy's rules, but I heard something about a show have to start before 6 May (?) to be included in awards.

Watchers posted a photo with flowers in the first plan and then it fits to Highgarden, but as you noticed there isn't green enough. But a Casterly Rock? Perfect

Think George is gonna write an episode? I hope so, but definitely to S8, not S7. D&D usually start working on scripts at the begining of every year, so they have to have all scripts to S7 right now. And George claims that he will gladly take part in the preparation of the script, but one episode takes him about a month, and now his priority is to work on the book. But I think that with this new schedule there is high possibility that Martin will write again for finale season. Finale episode of the series written by creator of this whole universe- one could dream

Comic Con and GoT panel this Friday! Yay, here you got preview from one of my favourite youtubers: Charlie claims that we shouldn't have hope for spoilers or even small announcements, because of their filming schedule this year, but we could probably find out more detailes about actor's perspective and clarified some character's motivations from S6. Enjoy, I still hope we'll have some scraps of new information on Friday

Brilliant! We all love Lyanna I had never heard that before, do you have a link? Trying to look for the one. But most pages include the hardcore Asoiaf fans stated this. IIRC he said that (when someone asked him about the Others if they're dead or not-he said they're alive but also->) there is some unhuman beauty(?) in them. And that's not exactly the same as saying they've got no connection with human. I try to find quote next time and update this post but remember that George almost never releases spoilers like that so we should be carefull with interpretation. Well GRMM confirmed Benjen isn't Coldhand in the book. So it wouldn't be off for GRMM to confirmed that the Others don't have a human origin (or so we interpreted). Also, since the show has no choice but to make Benjen as Coldhand, not going to be surprise that it's going to be different for the Others' origin in the book. Quote (we're both got this one in mind, right?): I don't remember Martin's confirmed anything about this yet and Benjen-Coldhands issue has been clarified years ago and they decided to mix those characters anyway, but I don't think that this one example is enough to draw conclusions to every other case. I always thought CotF created the Others, but in some indirect way, by accident. In show they're direcly responsible for that and it makes sense. Some connection between men, CotF and the Others is almost intuitive. Back to the point: is it a spoiler? I would say yes, maybe details will be different, I hope we'll find it soon ( The Winds of Winter to the rescue!).

2. Children of the Forest created White Walkers Sorry for the late reply, but didn't GRMM repeatedly insist that the WW/Others don't have a human origin, so this spoiler wouldn't be apply the same for the book? The Children of the Frest creating the WW/Others won't be it for the book? IIRC he said that (when someone asked him about the Others if they're dead or not-he said they're alive but also->) there is some unhuman beauty(?) in them. I didn't know what to vote for that one, so I just gave a smartass reply. As for biggest surprise, did you guys vote for Jon's resurrection and his parentage because it was exciting to see them finally revealed, or because they genuinely surprised you? I thought Kinvara was really hot. First one. There were probably more real spoilers through this season, but I was waiting so long for Jon's resurrection and R+L=J being finally confirmed, that I couldn't choose anything else. And of course Hodor #1 :

Sexy Jesus! How could I forget about him Because potato sacks are decidedly unflattering On all of you who shunned Arthur Dayne Good point Arthur Dayne was in my top 3, but I have to confess that he lost with Jaime in his sexy Tywin-like clothes and almost naked Jon Snow

Do you mean mention about September 2016 or something else? I was waitinig yaers for snow in show, lack of it kinda ruin sense in S5, so I hope we will finally get some properly winter weather. Maybe they find some new locations with more snow? Of course Northern Ireland GoT set cannot be replace, so if it will be necessary they will do as before, but I hope for a better efect. Yeah , should have said September. Only place I have seen that mentioned and they didn't give a source. Well they did film in Iceland but can't see them moving production there. Moving all production to Iceland is impossible- they've build/use too many locations in NI, which are iconic now- the Wall, Winterfell, some landscapes etc. But using snowy locations for random or new shots is more likely- well that would generate extra costs and logistic problems, so probably they'll stay in NI and wait for adequate weather. And of course the North isn't only place where they need cold weather, the rest of Westeros also should face with true winter, otherwise continuous talking about winter during last 6 seasons won't make any sense. There is so much easier to create winter weather in books

There was a short mention of season 7 filming starting over on WotW . Have seen no mention of anything like that elsewhere. That really pushes 2017 premiere out , a lot! Also , all I can see by this is more rainy weather work in NI. It might be cooler but no snow. Do you mean mention about September 2016 or something else? Wow that's a lot of categories and temptation for add few more actual is too strong. There is a pool, but I can't decide, so I write my suggestions here: Remove: *House X fan: if we want to stay with all universum, we could have all categories without changes, but if we want to focus on show Baratheon should be remove for sure, maybe also Martell (is there even one true fan of this house here?); Tyrell&Bolton should stay, because that's the last chance to reward their fans *Linda/Elio hater & GRRM fan- almost no one talking about this anymore *actor's fan: instead of saving old ones or creating new, we could make collective category The Biggest Actor/Actress fan and nominee people with pattern: user X for being fan of actor/actress YShow Apologist/Basher: not a clue, there is no two separate groups now, people appreciate and criticize show all the time. Add: *Best Newcomer is a good idea *Best Avatar also good idea *Biggest Hyper (is it a correct noun? I mean a person who creates the greatest hype): that's one would match to (or could replace) LSH/Cleganebowl Hopeful. We've got so many amazing hype threads this year: Snowbowl, Cleganebowl, Stoneheart in da show, Cersei's trial and people still creating promising new ones (Stormbowl, Queenbowl). Imagine campaign for the Biggest Hyper All good ideas! But if me DaveyJoe , Nezzer and TheMadQueen clash in Hype war... A Clash of the Hypers (my official proposition). I would be forum LF then Chaos is a ladderBetter not try

I approach this more seriously than the elections in my country I need to rewatch some scenes, almost forget what exactly happen in which episode, try to do this today. But I have to ask about best death/best kill categories: first ok is about death for any reason the best in our opinion, but the second one is more about A kills B or A was killed? Hmm, when I wrote this I realize how bizarre me problems are Best death is about a character having a cool death or a death scene you really like whether because it was well done or just anticipated eg. Hodor because the death was moving, or Ramsay because it was satisfying he died etc. Best kill is mostly about the way the person kills someone, Tormund ripping this guy's throat seems to be popular OK, thanks I've got good intuition, but had to ask anyway
