Aaaaand he's still going, confirming he's in the next ep (with a side order of yet more LSH teasing ...) I LOVE this guy, he's playing the game really nicely...

why do y'all think that cersei is going to start slaughtering sparrows in this ep? Originally my guess was that the sparrows come to gather the HS's new target Olenna - but as she's gone by now, and Cersei surely wouldn't be too inclined to stop her arrest anyway, I guess it's one of these: Either they're asking Cersei herself to accompany them to a "personal audience" with the HS, because the trial by combat has been denied; or they come to get Qyburn, whose "work" is regarded an offense to men and gods alike... Maybe even Pycelle has given a discreet hint to the HS, and that's why he'll be offed by the little birds shortly after ;-)

Was just about to post those too ;-)
Nothing really new, we've seen those scenes before; at least the Brienne pic gives kind of a new impression...

Feeling exactly the same thing about the show totally neglecting the effects of Jon's resurrection - for himself, his family and anyone else around. Just "ok, he's back, let's keep on doing what we did before".
And the second thing that left me in a similar confused state, for being a really BIG wtf moment without ANY further explanation or consequences: Melisandre revealing her true nature. Why was it shown at all - only for the pure shock effect? Shouldn't the story behind this be explored a little bit further?
So many people complain when there are one or two "slower" episodes without permanent action and killing scenes; but I have the feeling that development of characters and storylines could REALLY need a lot more slow episodes...

Are you referring to Arya being dressed like Syrio, or do you see Syrio lurking in those pics somewhere? Hm, seemingly I am too drunk to enunciate adequately ;-) I'm referring to - "Arya" behaving odd, not like Arya usually does, - "Arya" walking around with her hands folded behind her back, like Syrio did, - "Arya" being dressed in a way that reminds me of Syrio, too. - According to the supposed leaked episode 8 synopsis, "Area is not alone" After googling around in the meantime, I realized that there have been many "Syrio Forel is alive / is Jaqen" theories before I wasn't aware of... so maybe D & D are just playing with us and it's nothing but a red a red herring. Not ready to bury these thoughts yet ;-) So we can forget about that episode 8 synopsis cause it was fake. But as there is no new fuel for Stoneheart hype, I'm officially replacing this clue with some quotes from the latest Thronecast show, which had as special guest: Syrio Forel ( nudge, nudge). First thing he got asked (when they talked the Hound's return): "Did you ever think he was fully dead?" His answer: Later on the host asks him a strange question (think she was a bit confused here): "Syrio has a strong relationship with the House of Black and White, isn't it?" Which makes him stutter around for a while: And of course, when being directly confronted with some Twitter questions about those Syrio = Jaqen theories, he doesn't give a straight answer at all... just says "It's something that came out of the books." At the end, after having been shown the episode 8 preview with the FM grabbing the sparrow, he even dares to say: (wink, wink)

Seems I can bury my theory about the three riders' innocence. This is what the offical GoT Viewer's Guide says:

By the by , the prosthetic for the burn, one it looks different than former seasons, two, it looks kind of hasty pasty for such a sophisticated makeup department ... what goes on. I thought it looked better (more realistic) than in past seasons. It absolutely does. The "problem" with (real) burn wounds is, they always look totally "artificial", not at all like the skin and flesh we're used to. So, good job by the prosthetics department, though many viewers will say "that doesn't look natural" ;-) .

The sound Tyrion hears in the promo is most likely a dragon landing on top of the pyramid, I assume that's either Rhaegal or Viserion. It could be Drogon too, but I doubt it. Could also be the hit of a trebuchet when the Lannis..., eh, the slavers' armies attack Meereen.

"Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit." - Must mean either the Red God brigade is hard at work converting the Meereenese or the Dragon Duo gets loose on the town ... or both. Well, the episode 8 preview pic we saw seems to confirm that the situation has stabilized - it rather seems to show us a civilized market situation than a city in turmoil and famine. And it seems we will see the next red priestess (Melanie Liburd) at work in the Meereen granary in episode 8... so time for some relaxing, until the sons of the harpy and the slavers strike again.

I think Lachlan is the code in casting call. It's Lem in the show. "Lachlan" is of course a fictional codename - but did Lem seem like the "big leader" of a group of renegades to you? Would this "big leader" really perform the scouting before a raid himself, with only two men?

It's true, there is a dude who is not one of them. I'm not happy about this, this better not be that Bower dude My guess is those three riders had nothing to do with the killings. They are part of the "real" BwB (lead by LSH ofc ;-) ). And the massacre was committed by the "group of renegades who have turned on the land that they swore to protect" that is lead by the character codenamed "Lachlan". Sandor kills the bad guys, and afterwards gets picked up by the BwB. Besides, even IF those three riders are the bad guys, they surely didn't perform the massacre alone; so no surprise there are other dudes involved anyway...

I'm still holding on to the hope that the BwB had nothing to do with these murders Yes, that's the thought I'm also clinging to. Especially as they made a big thing about what those three riders might have come for - horses, gold, steel, food, women. And the raiders just killed all, and neither took women, nor steel, nor food as far as we can see. So it might be that Lem and the two others were members of the "real" BwB (with LSH their leader); and then there's the bad guys who killed everyone, and who we did not meet up to now. But who leads the evil one? If there is indeed an evil group that's different from the BwB, I guess we'll meet their leader soon: In the casting calls he was called "Lachlan": "He’s the big leader of a group of renegades who have turned on the land that they swore to protect. They’re now extorting the poor and vulnerable. He appears in 2 episodes in season 6." The alternative would be that Lem Lemoncloak is this "Lachlan", having gone rogue from the BwB, and indeed being responsible for the killings...

i think the FM can take any face they want in the show. they haven't established any 'rules' that say otherwise. You literally mean "any face" - like, for example, that of Shae, if someone paid a price for Tyrion's head ?

Maybe show Euron can bend krakens to his will instead of dragons and he attacks Oldtown like this Well, he'd have to go to and visit House Celtigar first: “The old pirate wagged a finger at him. “Forgiving, yes. Forgetting, no. All that good gold on Claw Isle that might have been mine, it makes me old and tired to think of it. When I die impoverished, my wives and concubines will curse you, Onion Lord. Lord Celtigar had many fine wines that now I am not tasting, a sea eagle he had trained to fly from the wrist, and a magic horn to summon krakens from the deep. Very useful such a horn would be, to pull down Tyroshi and other vexing creatures. But do I have this horn to blow? No, because the king made my old friend his Hand.”
