Why do I get the feeling that's not milk of the poppy? I was expecting the scene to end with the Lady Crane revealing herself as the Waif.

9/10 Stannis returns this week. Quote me on that. I don't think they show flashbacks that often on this show.

Glad to see Rachel fighting for the side of Clone Club. Delphine!!! Glad to see Helena back, and using her archery skills to save the Alison and Donnie.

Oh he's not running into her. I just meant if he kills Thoros the train derails. It's unthinkable for me they brought Thoros in just to get killed and she is still in.
Hound's entire arc this year is what we saw in this episode and his fight next episode. He may run into someone in finale, but I doubt it. Ahh! I was thinking about him actually bumping into LSH. He'll need to rest for a while before Cleganebowl anyhow.

10 bucks they don't explain it. She's really a long lost Sand Snake, since all they do is without rationale.

Still waiting for Cersei to become interesting again. Any day now... This will be her in a few episodes. She really is an amazing young lady ... she pulled off that mortal wound very convincingly... I was on the verge of tears no one was stopping to help her! Braavos is some cold cold people! I felt like that whole thing was a dream sequence for some reason. It felt real but not really real. Does that make any sense?! I am continually amazed they keep sneaking in shocker scenes like this that even the spoiler sources didn't know about! I'm wondering if it actually was Arya who got stabbed. Are we going to get some M Night Shyamalan 'she's been dead the whole time' twist? So is Mel is just gone? Maybe she's off to see Dany with everyone else. /s I guess she was with them somewhere but it was a little weird. Oh well. I think Jon, Sansa and Davos purposefully left her behind when treating with the northern Lords. They are already going to be pissed with Jon having an army of wildlings, having a priestess of R'hllor, and seeming like you have forsaken the old gods, would only further add insult to injury. That doesn't explain her not being shown at the camp, however. I'm glad I picked a Mormont sigil if this is where I get to live. Bear Island is absolutely stunning. I am glad we are getting to see more of Westeros. I just really hope to see Highgarden, it will be magnificent if Horn Hill is anything to go by. I don't know where to start, except I've been hyping for Sandor's return for two years now. I knew he'd return, somehow, deep in my heart, I knew. I mean, the foreshadowing in the books helped, but... I thought I'd be lucky to get a brief scene of Sandor returning, I feared he wouldn't get any dialogue and would just play as a plot twist. I can't tell you how astonished I was to see my favorite character return and get a cold open just before the climax of season 6. I was overwhelmed. I can't remember the last time I felt tears of joy, but I was so amazingly surprised with Sandor's reveal tonight. I had a lump in my throat and could barely focus on the other plot lines. They made sure Sandor's return wasn't a plot point, but allowed him to grow as a character and proffer the line of temptation versus redemption. I'm still amazed at how much time he got in tonight's episode. And I'm very excited to see where it goes from here, and I can't help but feel trepidation at his forward arc, but that's what this story is all about, isn't it?Well said. As for the BIB, he's going to avenge the smallfolk and Septon who followed the Seven... you know what follows this. Depending on whether or not the assumption made my spoiler guy is gonna become real or fake next episode, The Hound is gonna have the honor of (most likely) confirming LSH or slaying the hype. I was thinking this during the episode. It will be very interesting. If LSH shows up, I wonder if he will be hanged or tasked with finding Jaime/Brienne (I doubt the latter though). If he kills Thoros, I can really only see him being hanged; possibly taking Merrett's place? I'm not convinced on that though, just a thought. I'll be really pissed if his story is oh-no-he's-dead/jk/oh-shit-he-actually-is; seems shitty storytelling to me. Jaime and Bronn shitting on those two Frey bros was glorious btw. I can't overstate that enough. What a pair of weenies Lothar and Black Walder are. They make Harald Karstark look like Schwarzenegger. I loved Jaime backhanding one of them.

I don't think the thing with Sandor felt rushed at all. It just wasn't what we were expecting because it was different than the books. We saw who saved him and heard how, and we got a reason for him to leave and seek vengeance. What else do we really need? I have no desire to dwell there just because of McShane. Sansa had no choice but to enlist Littlefinger. No surprise there. Now she'll be indebted to him again. That crafty fucker. I would have loved a Septon Meribald speech but the show's version was very well done. The pacing felt fine.

I am so fucking glad Sandor is back. I loved the Cleganebowl teasing, "there is a reason you're still here, the gods aren't done with you yet". Also, I'm back on the LSH hype train after Septon McShane being hanged.
