Oh and it's a joke Ramin Djawadi wasn't nominated. Arguably his best work this season imo.

As far as thrones goes I'm only really rooting for Lena. She deserves it, been the best actress on the show for years. Yep, definitely the best of the thrones nominees, her best season to date, especially the range she has done (from grieving mother in 6x01 to triumphant Mad Queen in 6x10)

Melissa McBride will be snubbed because of TWD's shit writing. It's a sin that's the case because Melissa is outstanding. She's long overdue for a nod and is usually on my Emmy snub list yearly. Of course, Nick Offerman was never nominated for Parks and Rec which is still a crime. WTF did Clarke do this season WTF did Dinklage do this season? Emmys check him off yearly whether he deserves it or not. They love it when Emilia is giving the scenes where she can give a speech in a made up language and has those big moments. Emilia's not my favorite actress on the show (acting talent wise) but, it's no surprise she was nominated given the fact that the show gave her several moments this season that the Emmy voters would eat up. Glad to see Maisie nominated. I agree with day dreamer that Sophie had the better storyline but Maisie's acting was really something else this season and made that storyline watchable and tolerable. I wish HBO put Liam Cunningham forth, but they didn't. Not too surprised about Harington getting a nod. Would love to see Lena win finally. Also, please Emmys, give it to Tatiana. The scene with Cosima breaking down after what happens to Kendall is complete Emmy gold (throw her work as Rachel, Sarah, Krystal, MK, Alison, Helena...)...there is no actress doing what she does on TV and doing it that well. Maisie,Peter, Kit, Lena and Emilia got nominated. And some assholes are complaining about Maisie getting the nom over Sophie There's always going to be some. GOT show/fans have a lot to be happy about. Most acting nods they've ever gotten in a season, up for best show. Can't say GoT has been snubbed (other than in music). Outlander fans...are probably RAGING right now...even though the only person worthy of an Emmy was Tobias Menzies.

I know, but it still upsets me, because the reason some people are questioning Maisie being nominated and not Sophie are just doing it because Sansa is their fave and how dare the Emmys appreciate the actress that plays Arya more than the one who plays Sansa. If this was about the Emmys ignoring the better actress (and Sophie is good, but she is not better than Maisie or Lena, and her acting last season was better than this year), they would question why Emilia (sorry if this annoys someone, but Emilia's acting is not always the best) or Peter (a very good actor that really didn't have much to do this season, even though his scene with the dragons was amazing) got nominated.

Yeah, as a GoT fan, I can't complain too much because I'm pretty sure the got the most nominations of any show. Outlander fans are probably furious. (I noticed Leftovers fans are)

I want them to share a scene This was so cool! I want them to share a scene too. My money is still on Jaime being the one to kill Cersei, but it would be rad if she and Arya had a little sit-down, and then Arya killed her.

I'm one of those who likes Sophie's acting, but Maisie is just far and away better. She's a true natural. Some day people will be saying Maisie Williams instead of Meryl Streep when they talk about an acting goddess. My two cents.

I'm disappointed that Sam Heughan wasn't nominated, but he would have NO chance to win so its not a huge deal. Balfe didn't deserve it this year and Tobias was barely in it, so Sam is really the only one who got snubbed. Prestonpans was superbly directed but it wouldn't have won either. Aside from the lack of Outlander, I'm happy with these nominations. Dinklage and Emilia are always going to be nominated because they're the biggest names, so that's just something people are going to have to get over and accept.
