After a rewatch, there were a couple of things I picked up on: - All the talk of Edmure being the rightful Lord of Riverrun, but isn't Walder Frey the rightful Lord? I can't quite remember how that went in the books but why would they surrender for Edmure but not for Walder? - A minor detail, but it seems once again that Brienne doesn't understand how typical inheritance laws of Westeros work. Last year she said Renly was the rightful king. Eh, no, Stannis was the rightful King, no matter how much you wanted Renly to be. This episode she says Sansa is the rightful Lady of Winterfell. What about Rickon? She knows he's alive. Therefore he is the rightful Lord of Winterfell; he comes before Sansa. I understand it's the most minor of nitpicks, hardly ranting and raving, but it just seems she either doesn't understand what the word "rightful" means or just doesn't care. I know this just seems like complaining for complaining's sake, but I just need to vent my frustration at Brienne every once in a while. RE: point one, no, since Riverrun was in the possession of the Tully forces at the time, and it was all from the Tully perspective who would all see him as the rightful Lord.

How different Arya's last official published chapter leaves things:
"That night they gave her back the face of Arya Stark. They brought a robe for her as well, the soft thick robe of an acolyte, black upon one side and white upon the other. “Wear this when you are here,” the priest said, “but know that you shall have little need of it for the present. On the morrow you will go to Izembaro to begin your first apprenticeship. Take what clothes you will from the vaults below. The city watch is looking for a certain ugly girl, known to frequent the Purple Harbor, so best you have a new face as well.” He cupped her chin, turned her head this way and that, nodded. “A pretty one this time, I think. As pretty as your own. Who are you, child?” “No one,” she replied." (--From A Dance with Dragons)
I miss that Black and White robe of the Faceless Men... sniff...

Yep, you're right! I remembered him wearing blue, not black. Memory is a weird thing. His face is familiar. Where have we seen him before? This actor is Adam Turner and he is the "pale young man" from the casting calls (not the guy in blue as I assumed before). His CV shows only theatre roles so far... so I don't think we've seen him anywhere before. He does admittedly look a bit like Olyvar so maybe that's it

They're already past ADwD so I don't see your point ? Arya will leave the Faceless Men in TWoW too. It probably won't include parkour after being stabbed or terminator waifs but it will happen anyway.

I don't think anyone in Kings Landing ever did note his absence. They must have known, though, since Mace went back. I guess they figured we wouldn't give a shit, so they either didn't shoot it or did but cut it. The Waif said something about what happened to the king's guard.

We're gonna ban trials by combat. I'm telling you, trials by the faith are absolutely fantastic. It's going to be a fair trial, it's going to be a great trial, I'm really looking forward to it. I got a guy, he's the best at fair trials, and I've seen a lot of trials, so I know, believe me.

I really don't get why so many are so upset that Arya fucked up. She fucked up exactly ONE time in six seasons. She did so after reclaiming her identity and deciding to return home, which was a huge, huge decision for her. She's how old at this point? Eleven, twelve, thirteen? And she's only made one real mistake. And she used her wits and newly learned skills to recover from it. I'm a little confused about why Jaqen let her go as well. Maybe because she had needle pointed at his heart and could have killed him but chose not to. And she left, so as @envie said, she was no longer NoOne, she gave them the Waif's face, and she no longer owed anything. I'm not sure why he let her go, either. Clearly he respects her, but is that enough reason? Or maybe he has plans for her as Arya Stark. And I'm relieved that Arya did not kill Jaqen. I was a little worried that she would. They seemed to have come to an understanding in that scene - sort of an exchange of mutual respect. I wonder if we'll see Jaqn again.

The House of B&W story is so fucking confusing. I thought "Jaqen" died last year.

Which is why I think season 5 Jaqen wasn't necessarily the one she met in season 2, but the Kindly Man chose a face she'd find trustworthy. I don't know, it doesn't make much sense, so I'm trying not to overthink it.
