"Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit." - Must mean either the Red God brigade is hard at work converting the Meereenese or the Dragon Duo gets loose on the town ... or both. Or maybe it's maddeningly literal and Tyrion planted some pears on the Great Pyramid's balcony.

Well, the episode 8 preview pic we saw seems to confirm that the situation has stabilized - it rather seems to show us a civilized market situation than a city in turmoil and famine. And it seems we will see the next red priestess (Melanie Liburd) at work in the Meereen granary in episode 8... so time for some relaxing, until the sons of the harpy and the slavers strike again.

There's still some setup necessary for either Harpy action or Ironborn ships arriving before Dany and the Dothraki do. Or maybe it all happens at once and chaos ensues. All of the above would be great. There's no more time for relaxing btw ... the story is going to catapult forward very rapidly in the next three episodes cos' BITCHES WE ARE LEAVING THIS LAME CITY!!

The sound Tyrion hears in the promo is most likely a dragon landing on top of the pyramid, I assume that's either Rhaegal or Viserion. It could be Drogon too, but I doubt it.

Also it's a bizarre line. There are two Tullys. Edmure is not a threat. Seriously

Honestly that one line undid all the goodwill he got when he bitchslaped that Frey That's part of his threat to Edmure. In which he'll probably threaten Roslin's child as well. So the point is to raise the stakes as much as possible and be believable in his threat as he can be, unlike the Freys and their empty ones. Whether he would actually do any such thing and hurt the baby is a different question but he has to convince Edmure of his sincerity and bringing up his relationship with Cersei in the threat is the sort of detail that sells something like that. It's basically part of this theory of diplomacy. And it'll work. The point of having Edmure bathed and cleaned up is to get him to do what the Freys were too stupid to think of; to get him to command the Tully men in Riverrun to stand down and surrender, since he's their lord, not the Blackfish.

Does honor compel her to flee when the siege starts or something?

It's either she's looking back at Jaime who tells his men not to fire on her, the Blackfish and Pod or more sadly, her looking back at the Blackfish "holding the door" as it were. Either way it'll be sad.

It's been a while since I read AFfC, but IIRC Jaime has no intention of actually catapulting the Tully baby. It's just a threat, and he knows that his reputation as a man without honour will make people believe he'd do it, and hence Edmure does what he says.

Especially from Dumber and Dumber and well, Jaime Since he's drawing his sword, I guess it's more likely it's a last stand scenario on his part and he's telling her to either find the Blackwoods and Mallisters (IIRC they were the other RL houses the two Frey bros said has risen against them) and/or the BWB.

I'm pretty sure he jumped into the river and swam the fuck outta there when Edmure was about to turn the castle over.
