So Olenna's safe from the attack. Seems like a bad idea to leave Olenna alive. How do we think this Massacre is gonna go down? Just a big explosion? I kind of want some stabby stabby beforehand. Gregor comes in a chops everybody up and leaves, before the place blows up. i think all the stabby stabby will be next ep. i think they'll really build up the explosion. miguel sapochnik is directing episode 10 so it should be good imo Yeah maybe. I just feel like it will be a little bit non satisfying if everybody just disappears in a second. I wanna see the High Sparrow get shanked before he blows up lol.

Personally, I really enjoy loud, screamy Cersei (her at the purple wedding and her arrest are two of my fave scenes). But I guess in this case, it would be more appropriate for her to grin and bear it. Also, Cersei has yet to get drunk this season and that is a travesty.

I still think just an explosion would be terrible. This is the end of the Tyrells and the Sparrows. Four seasons worth of plotlines. It deserves its time and the people inside the Sept have to realize the horror that is about to happen.

I need something ominous, something that gets people nervous, that "Cat hearing the Rains of Castamere at the Red Wedding" moment. Picture this: Everybody's inside, getting antsy waiting for Cersei to show up. Margaery notices Qyburn and some pyromancers sneaking off into the dungeons down underground. The doors are closed by Lannister guards as they exit. Idk. Even that's kinda lame. It's hard to build suspense to an explosion that no one knows about.

Well people are officially excited. Because they are making terrible fake stuff based on it https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/4na4b7/cersei_watches_kings_landing_burn_legit_or_fake/

Since I'm bored, I put together what I *think* is a comprehensive list of all the foreshadowing that Cersei will burn the Sept at her trial. Keep in mind this is all show stuff, so the million "eyes like wildfire" lines from the books will not be included. SO BUCKLE UP...
-Cersei is revealed to have been the one who originally ordered the Alchemists Guild to start producing wildfire to use against Stannis's impending invasion, showing she's had an inclination towards "the substance" for some time. (The Ghost of Harrenhall) -Wildfire is used in the defense of King's Landing during the Battle of Blackwater. This is the first time we see the stuff in action. (Blackwater) -Margaery is given a tour of all the dead bodies in the Great Sept of Baelor. Not necessarily direct foreshadowing but kind of a creepy detail knowing that she will join them soon. (And Now His Watch Is Ended) -Jaime Lannister tells Brienne of Tarth of the Mad King's obsession with wildfire, and how he ordered stashes of if be placed in the tunnels beneath places in King's Landing, including the Sept of Baelor. (Kissed by Fire) -In the Sept of Baelor, Cersei threatens to kill Margaery Tyrell and suggest that House Tyrell will suffer the same fate as House Castamere, which means complete annihilation. (Second Sons) - Cersei says "I don't want a trial" while in the Sept of Baelor. She is referring to a different trial, but her message is clear. She has no interest in Justice and simply desires to take vengeance on her own. (Breaker of Chains) -While speaking with Oberyn Martell about finding the truth in Tyrion's trial, Cersei says "we'll have a trial, anyway." Once again, this shows her complete disgust with the justice system and shows how pointless she thinks it is (First of His Name) -when speaking of the idea of her son being taken away/turned against her, Cersei screams "I will burn our house to the ground before I let that happen!" As of 608, Tommen has become allied with the Tyrells and the High Septon, and is actively working against Cersei. (The Children) -"I will burn their cities to the ground if they touch her!" Once again, this shows Cersei affinity for burning things (The House of Black and White) -"I would burn cities to the ground" Cersei tells Tommen in saying the things she would do to protect herself and her children from enemies. (The Gift) -After being thrown into a cell by the High Sparrow, Cersei promises Septa Unella that "my face will be the last thing you see before you die!" This hints at a deadly reckoning for the Faith Militant later down the line. (the Gift) -Tommen talks about destroying the Sept, as his mother would do (Home) -Bran Stark has visions of pyromancers brewing wildfire, and of wildfire exploding in a tunnel underground (Blood of My Blood) - Olenna asks if Cersei intends to kill the whole city herself. (The Broken Man) -Cersei begins acting violently towards the Faith Militant, and refuses to return to the Sept of Baelor (No One) -Tommen declares Cersei must stand trial before several Septons on the first day of the festival of the mother in the Sept of Baelor (No One) -Qyburn confirms a rumor Cersei asked that he look into, widely believed to be the rumor of wildfire still hidden underneath the city (No One) -Jaime Lannister tells Edmure Tully that his sister is capable of burning entire cities to ash. (No One)
Sorry for the wall of text, I wrote this on my phone lol

So this is happening next week. The promo offered some new glimpses at the trials and surrounding scenes. So we have Cersei in a snazzy new dress in her chambers. The dress looks very similar to Tywin's style, which is fitting as she's pulling a Castamere 2.0 Tommen being crowned somewhere, presumably in the Sept The High Sparrow and the seven other judges entering the Sept The Seven Judges convened in the center, with a good shot of the giant crowd gathered. Loras kneeling before the High Sparrow, sporting a chic new haircut. This shot is confusing. It's Lancel leaving the Sept and going out into the city. But idk any context. So yeah

So yeah Why is Tommen being crowned again? Or is it just is maid dressing him up for the trial? And what's up with his new outfit, what does that mean?

Nezzer the background seems very fancy. Maybe just his chambers in the Red Keep. His new outfit is weird lol. The necklace/chain thing looks like it's embroidered with lions(?) maybe. I'm unsure if Tommen goes to the Sept at all. He's not there when it blows up, and he kills himself in the Red Keep afterwords. My best guess is that Tommen planned on arriving at the same time as Cersei, to "present" her in a sense, but since she never shows up, I guess he wouldn't either.
