A lot can be covered in short scenes. I'm not worried about the pacing as long as Bran's re-intro, Myrcella's funeral and the CB shit get about eight-to-ten minutes apiece. The rest could be handled with much less screentime. Do you think CB will be one big scene at the end or will the screentime there be split? If the Mel and Davos chat is in the episode (it could still be in 603 as well) I could see us getting that at the beginning of the episode and then getting the big fight at the end, again bookending things with the action at the Wall. I guess the fight got adequate set up in 601 though, so beyond the fight itself I don't know if we'd need more of Davos and Thorne hyping their men in preparation. I guess there's a chance that we see Edd arriving in Tormund's camp but we don't really NEED to see that.

I think it's more likely that the chat happens in 603. I agree with the rest.

I just discovered this post/thread ... we have two different posts discussing the promo? One is spoilers one isn't? I'm confused!
Nevermind, the other one is for the description. I thought it was the promo. I need a beer.

This is very helpful btw. green-chili.blogspot.ca/p/episode-2.htmlSo I guess as I suggested to @kairos in the promo thread, there could be a scene of Edd arriving to greet Tormund and co. I'd forgotten about that shot. EDIT: Though I don't think it's right about the stuff of Cersei running into Lancel being in this episode. I think that's MUCH later in the season.

Forgive me if this was already discussed in the previous 5 pages, but I'm curious (aiming this at you Nezzer) what do you think is going to happen from that scene we got to see in the promo between Ramsay and Roose? Ramsay mentioning Castle Black is undefended on the south side (well pretty much everywhere by now) could mean maybe he intends to take a force up there to go after Sansa? Boy if he did, he'd be in for a surprise when he meets the Wildlings.

So he could go to Castle Black with a small army behind him and threaten Jon by displaying Rickon as his hostage, saying that he will kill him if they don't deliver Sansa back to him. He might deliver some kind of Pink Letter speech there and then instead of sending an actual letter.

Ah so you're expecting a reveal in episode 2 that enables Ramsay to deliver his pink letter in person instead? I thought it was early on for the other Northerners (Karstarks etc) to show up but Roose did point out a "Reckoning was coming" and they had to be prepared as the Northerners wouldn't back them without Sansa. That's all going to happen in episode 2?

I think Karstark is going to be a Bolton sycophant and will bring them some "special information" in episode 2, ending the scene before we hear what he has to say. Then in episode 3 Ramsay goes to Last Hearth or wherever Rickon is hidden and captures him. Only in episode 4 will he go to CB to show Jon that he has Rickon as a hostage. That's my speculation, at least.

So Sam & Gilly aren't in this episode then? I don't think so. They're still on a boat in episode 3.

So Sam & Gilly aren't in this episode then? Their first appearance is confirmed for 603 and they'll probably be in 4 or 5 episodes at the most.

For me the best part is Baby Spice stabbing Aero in the back and him immediately going down Still me and my co-worker had the biggest laugh about Jorah suddenly getting off that horse and finding that ring He went down so fast he has to be faking. Did none of these Dorne actors give interviews after this ep? Is everyone too ashamed? As far as Euron/Balon. They probably talk in doors and Balon says something douchey to Euron and he leaves, then when they meet again on the bridge Euron will pull some smart remark about him not being fit to rule and toss him off. I also don't think we see Edd meet with the Wildlings, they'll save all that momentum for Wun Wun crashing through the gates.

Sorry if this has been discussed in the first five pages, but what do we think is going on with Cersei?
She's in black, ready to go somewhere, but Tommen keeps her in the Red Keep. Note she doesn't appear to attend Myrcella's funeral. I'm guessing Tommen blocks her from going for...reasons.... Maybe he doesn't want her back at the Sept because...Margaery's there? He doesn't want to risk her getting arrested again? The High Sparrow said she's not allowed back?

So we have: - The Boltons - The Wall - SanTheBriPod - King's Landing - Bran - Iron Islands - Meereen - Dany Am I forgetting some storyline? My personal prediction on screetime for each storyline: - The Wall (12 minutes) - Bran (10 minutes) - Iron Islands (8 minutes) - The Boltons (6 minutes) - King's Landing (6 minutes) - Meereen (5 minutes) - Sansa/Theon/Brienne/Pod (5 minutes)

I think Cersei's too scared to go back and being seen in public after her humiliating walk is probably not going to happen.
