So we have: - The Boltons - The Wall - SanTheBriPod - King's Landing - Bran - Iron Islands - Meereen - Dany Am I forgetting some storyline? This sounds like waaaay too many storylines again and the episode is not really that much longer either.

And I really don't think the scenes taking place in the North take more than about 8 minutes of screentime. Meereen scenes shouldn't be that long either. I assume the biggest chunk (maybe 20 minutes) of the episode will be devoted to Bran.

Yep, but I think Winterfell, Sansa & co., Meereen and Dany will all have short scenes only, each probably as long as Ellaria and the Sand Snakes last episode.

I don't want those scenes to be short, because as much as I liked 601, the episode did suffer from scenes that were too short. Maybe it works better next episode. Although 20 minutes for Bran? Huh? That sounds like a lot.

@rooseisazorhai you also forgot Braavos. That's the one. I knew I was forgetting something. Roose and Rams have a discussion with Harald Karstark, while Brienne tells Sansa about Arya. Those scenes shouldn't take long. I assume the Arya scenes will just be her fighting against the waif. The Wall will have considerable amount of screentime, as we're apparently going to have a battle between the NW and the wildlings.

I know I complain about time a lot, but if you're gonna have 8 storylines in one episode, at least make it 60 minutes.

I imagine KL, CB and Bran's cave will get the most focus throughout the episode while the others will just be shorter "checking-in-with-these-guys scenes". But since I doubt the previously-on will be as long this time around, we'll get more real screentime anyways so I wouldn't be TOO worried.

It was 50 minutes including opening and end credits.

Sansa is headed to the Wall and then eventually Snowbowl so that merges 3 storylines into one. Dany will eventually head back to Meereen merging 2 storylines into one. Euron will be headed to the Reach where Sam is, Yara and Theon are headed to Meereen where Dany is. Jaime and Brienne are meeting up in the Riverlands. Arya is leaving Braavos in 608. I mean stories will slowly merge together, but not until the second half.

Wait.. The Previously-Ons are also part of the screentime? I don't know why I thought they weren't. They aren't. The episode is listed as 54 minutes, so if you exclude the title sequence and the closing credits it's really around 51 or 52.

A lot can be covered in short scenes. I'm not worried about the pacing as long as Bran's re-intro, Myrcella's funeral and the CB shit get about eight-to-ten minutes apiece. The rest could be handled with much less screentime.
