Sorry Tyrion riding a dragon just doesn't work for me. So cheesy thinking about it. The fact that it has a chance of happening makes me hate it more not less. I couldn't agree more, the image of Tyrion ridding a dragon is just too bizarre. And also, enough with the secret Targs, one is plenty. I'd be disappointing if he made Tyrion a Targ. Generally, there are way too many secret identity theories. One of the theories I despised the most is Jon getting Drogon. WTF! Not only does he have an special sword, a special wolf and probably super warg powers, he also has to get the biggest baddest dragon. Please, never gonna happen. That is Dany's dragon and hers alone.

Why? It is set up somewhat already, via his special personal saddle and the one he designed for Bran. His dragon dreams and burnt bacon love do hint at him being a "dragon" possibly. Frankly, Tyrion being part Targ is quite a legit possibility and if it is the plan GRRM will write it in a way that in the end people will be fine with it. It certainly does not belong in a top ten, or even a top 50 list of annoying theories. The ones that are annoying are the ones that have no basis, or that are pushed incessantly by promoters who don't post about anything else ie. ( Le Cygne and SanSan at asoiaf).Ugh, Sandor and Sansa... Just no. That's a theory I really hate. And pretty much any theory involving glamors and fake identities. HS=HR, Euron=Daario, Syrio=Jaqen and all that crap. Yeah, SanSan is really, really creepy. Even in the books the age difference must be as big as between Dany and Drogo, never mind the fact that the guy is a brute killer regardless of his hidden sad puppy character. Creepy

People are so worried about secret Targs, but seriously, it was described in horrid detail what was done to known Targs at the end of the rebellion (Rhaegar's kids) so the only Targs that are going to exist now, by virtue of the fact that known ones could not have survived, are secret ones. It really isn't such a huge problem. Yes, Dany and Viserys survived in exhile and were known. But attempts were made on their lives, and not all surviving Targ blooded people can be hanging out away from the main action of the story. The story is in Wwteros, where any Targs who were known to be so would be long dead. Even if Tyrion turns out to be a Targ bastard it was never a known thing or he too would have died long before he could join the story. The Targs were a dynasty that lasted quite a long time. Yes, they tended to marry each other, but they married in to other families often enough that there are in fact many people who carry the bloodline in some form. They are "secret" so far in the sense that GRRM has not told us much about them, but that is it.

On SanSan:
The SanSan freaks' claim that Sansa has a sort of crush on Sandor is legit. And is in fact entirely normal bahaviour for a teenage girl. Sandor saved her life and forced her to utterly transform her thinking about what it means to be a knight or not one. The creepy part is the belief that means they will have some sort of future love story.
That is like saying a teenage girl who has a crush on a particularly nice teacher is destined to marry him and have his babies.

Well I haven't read it yet so I can't say it's cheesy. All I've said is that idea of it is, not sure how I can justify my personal taste. Maybe GRRM can work a miracle and make Tyrion riding a dragon not be ridiculous but I'd rather it just not happen at all.

Oh, I just remembered a very crazy theory, Sweetness as a Negative. Some people hate the idea of Jon and Dany getting together, that they just completely lost it.

I just don't understand why it is offensive or irritating at all I guess. As I said, if it happens it was certainly set up as a possibility from the very beginning. So I don't see why Tyrion riding a dragon would be any different from any other character who is not Dany riding one. Sure, he is a dwarf. But a dwarf who knows how to make himself special saddles. It really isn't an insurmountable obstacle.

He even killed a kid! I really like The Hound, he's a very compelling character, in fact one of my favourites, but the notion of Sansa and Sansa making a couple is... well...

I think we can all agree that Tyrion being a Targ and a dragonrider are the worst theories ever been put.
EDIT: also forgot this one: R+L=D
