also i remember sophie saying that last season was the 'peak' for her character. i don't think her situation will get worse. i always imagined a bittersweet ending for her.

Well the actors playing Smalljon and Lord Karstark were supposed to film the weeks of: July 20, August 17, September 21 (Likely Snowbowl), September 28 (Likely Snowbowl), October 5 (Likely Snowbowl), November 2, and November 23. I think Sophie could have scenes with them in November. Is that info from WOTW? I'll include it in my thread then. I actually thought Sue wrote Smalljon was only shooting for 2 days, what's wrong with me?

I'm not worried about Sansa either. She's one I really think makes it to the end. (I actually think they're done killing Starks at this point, and if one more dies, Arya is the most likely choice)
That's a good point about Dance and Headey filming all their scenes in a few weeks. That should calm everyone down. lol

What the fuck do they mean by 'a lot of wattage'? Powerful? Or like, has a lot of energy. What a strange phrasing.

noun
1.
power, as measured in watts.
2.
the amount of power required to operate an electrical appliance or device.

When did Snowbowl start shooting? If sophie isn't filming again until November can we say for sure she won't be there? She did show up in Belfast briefly last week, so she might be tangentially involved in the shoot. But I imagine that was more likely her waiting somewhere nearby the battle a la her mum in ep. 109. This is my guess. Sansa won't be actually involved in Snowbowl, but somewhere nearby - so Sophie likely does not need to be there during all those long weeks of battle scenes because obviously she's not fighting in it. Like Catelyn did with Robb's battles, Sansa she will probably be in some scene before or after it that doesn't need to be filmed right in the thick of the battle set at Saintfield. All the knights and warriors of the battle likely have a ton more filming dates right now through mid October. I also think Sansa makes it to the end story. Everyone seems to think Arya will probably die before Sansa and this makes me sad but I'm resigned to that 'bittersweet' ending GRRM hinted at - I just hope it's not Arya.

Sansa's early purpose in the books have always been pretty clear to me. She needs to be in KL, close to Joffrey, Cersei (before her POV), the Tyrells, Littlefinger, Hound, etc.
But her current situation in the Vale, I have no clue where her book story is going. And her current situation in the show (fArya) boggles my mind still.
As a fan of the show, I have to tell you her arc in S5 was a huge letdown. To write her as a perpetual victim in the books and the show is just frustrating. It's time for Sansa to do something in S6 or I kind of hope they just kill her off.
She's gotta kill LF this season or be killed. It's time for her to be a difference maker.

As much as I unexpectedly enjoyed the total change of Sansa's story in Season 5, I will agree with you that the 'victim porn' routine is getting old now. Season 6 had better take Sansa down a much more winning path or fans are going to start really criticizing it to the point it takes more hits than it already has for the 'rape' outrages.

I doubt it's Manderly for the simple reason that this lord is not part of Snowbowl. But if he's shooting in December, it's probably Northern-related stuff, something post-battle perhaps? I get the sense this could a big episode 10 reveal/monologue, which would point towards Howland Reed more than Manderly. Although I have never thought of Howland as incisive or wry, but it's not like we've ever met him in the books either.

I doubt he'll be all rollin' up in there for Snowbowl himself, do you?

I would think they'd specify that in the casting description unless they are just going to make him thinner the way they did Illyrio Mopatis which was disappointing to me because Tyrion's descriptions of how fat he was and always eating were some of my favorites. Not complaining too much because the actor for Illyrio is good.

Isn't today the day we find out an actor for least one main Dothraki?

Yeah I dunno what happened there. Putting Varys in for the travel through Volantis, etc was a good choice though if they couldn't get the actor for Illyrio back. I love Varys and the more we get of Conleth the better!

According to Diario de Navarra Michiel Huisman is filming with Emilia in las Bardenas, no word about Iain Glen though, which kind of worries me.
