I don't remember how I came to like any of the characters btw. Except Ned of course. Liking him is kinda inevitable. He's still stupid, but he will always be my first favourite character.

Another controversial opinion: I really don't give a fuck about Cleganebowl. But I still hype it for my raccoon, because I have a feeling he cares about Cleganebowl and I don't want to make him sad. Edit: Although, @daveyjoe didn't hesitate to make me sad when he shaded Sophie yesterday. @daveyjoe hasn't responded yet since you made that post. I can only conclude he is scheming how to ruin our wedding as a revenge.

I apologize for all of the feelings I hurt when I shared my opinion.

The Clegane rivalry has been brought up too many times in the story for there not to be any payoff. It's one of the most compelling backstories in the series, which is why the CLEGANEBOWL theory took off like it did. And there is no amount of peace or change that makes you forget that your brother burned your face off. Agree 109 super duper percent with Witchy. People don't change over night you don't have an epiphany and become a better person. Violence is what shaped Sandor's life and it will come back to him easily.

Do we think Sophie's acting was good in this scene?

Do we think Sophie's acting was good in this scene? Well, I do. Yeah I do too. It's interesting because in S1, I thought Sophie's acting was meh and I didn't give a shit about Sansa. It wasn't really until ASoS and S4 where I started to appreciate her character more.

She's definitely improved a lot as she's gotten older. Which is fortunate because it's so often the other way around for child actors.

I apologize for all of the feelings I hurt when I shared my opinion. I imagine Davey wearing day dreamer red dress and screaming that into a microphone during a reception after yelling "THIS WEDDING IS A SHAM"

About Cleganebowl: When I said I didn't think it was going to happen in a previous response to this thread, I meant it in the sense of Sandor being the Faith's champion. That makes no sense- a Kingsguard deserter who is injured in the Riverlands would never be the Faith's champion.
Sandor is conflicted about Gregor. Meeting him would give him a massive panic attack and scare him so much- Gregor is after all Sandor's abuser. On the other hand, he has thought about killing him alot. Ser Robert Strong may be a deformed version of Gregor- but for Sandor, there is enough Gregor in Robert Strong, that it is enough for him to be both scared and angry.
On the other hand, whatever is left of Gregor- will definately want to hurt Sandor more. Coupled with the fact they both have a sister that could potentially play a role (Gregor may have abused her too, or even killed her).
Cleganebowl is totally GRRM's style. Here is the opportunity to deal with the threat of Robert Strong (could possibly be sent by Cersei to find Sansa after her trial) plus Sandor to resolve his feelings about Gregor.
My point being: Cleganebowl is sad, damaging and Sandor will be terrified as well as having the fiery anger of Oberyn Martell. But facing him and confronting him... will open Sandor to new possibilities.
I kind of see Cleganebowl happening with Sandor trying to defend someone- like he has done for Sansa and Arya. Arya doesn't make much sense due to her location, but Sansa definately does. As he is terrified, he might avoid a confrontation with Gregor (chances are he'll be the aggressor) but he'll have to. He'll have to be a knight- but what he fights for will be his choice.
So that's how I think its going to happen and what it will mean for Sandor

They will fight. Just not at Cersei's trial, Davey. That's a compromise many are willing to grant you.

This is probably the most I've talked about the books/show since joining Usually I just bum around the other topics making an idiot of myself.
