Ok, I'm starting to accept it a bit better now, though I still think it's not that unlikely that he's alive. I'm still pissed at D&D and Brienne, but if he died at least he went out well. He is one of the few badass warriors who actually died in battle in this show instead of being poisoned, backstabbed, tortured or publicly humiliated like Ned. His last last days were the worst of his life and his last moments filled with pure regret, but he got a good death in the end. I'd say this is exactly what the writers did to Stannis and his fanbase. It's worse then Ned. They killed his character twice in the spread of 2 episodes. I find this repugnant, unforgivable and the worst thing the show has ever done, worse than Stoneheart. I feel betrayed by what went down in the show. I know, but if we were to judge his death on its own I'd still say it was a decent one.

How has he not done a single interview on this either? He was on the show for 4 seasons. Stephen never does interviews unless it's in his contract or he really wants to. In this case I can see why he doesn't want to Can't someone like, tempt him to come out of his cave and talk for five minutes?

I would but I don't think the show is worthy of taking his time to talk about. He is probably on a train somewhere, reading a book

I dont get why they would set him up with such a great dilema for the future and then chuck him out without so much as a word of regret. I know Stannis was never a big man for words (on the show at least) but it seems like such a wasted opportunity for the show to cash in on his character, who was vastly underutilized. I mean all he did for nearly two series was debate with Davos and say "the Iron Throne is mine". Could of at least got the proud wing story out there. That would at least foreshadow him burning Shireen a bit, if that was really the only route available to the character rather than having him suddenly come around entirely offscreen. All I'm saying is the character deserved far better than what he got. But with this show, I guess this is the best we could hope for.
