So , what's the deal? HBO gonna say anything, besides contract extension, about season 7? Don't know HBO's position , wonder what they know about their 'global viewership'? This season did well USA wise but didn't ultra break any records. Which would have to be GoT records. I still wonder about the 7.5 thing from David, and the IMAX gig this year. I suppose there will be a 8,9, and 10 IMAX showing, showings in 2016? Show wise things seem strange right now.

I always felt that D&D got Season 5+6 renewed upfront because AFFC and ADWD was complex to adapt.

Season 7 will be confirmed next April, I'd say.

I always felt that D&D got Season 5+6 renewed upfront because AFFC and ADWD was complex to adapt. If that's the reason, then what's the point of condensing almost everything to adapt both books into a single season?
