Okay, folks, so unlike past season premieres this one will probably have to start RIGHT where the preceding finale left off given the slew of cliffhangers it threw at us. There won't be any ambiguous "I've been back for weeks" this time around. Jon being dead in the courtyard has to be addressed right away, I think, with someone taking the corpse elsewhere before it's burned. And Sansa and Theon and the Dorne cliffhangers have to be addressed too.
So how do we all think the s6 premiere will play out?

Ep. 601

I have for long thought that in the books Bran will somehow prevent the execution of Theon and Asha tries to usr the fact that he's alive to undo the Kingsmoot. Or then Stannis just executes him.
Obviously that won't happen in the show because Urine Euron won't be introduced until next year and Mannis is dead.
Considering Stannis propably loses the battle, I think he will just execute Theon, but not before he confesses. Then he will die.
I think in the show Theon and Sansa will find Stannis who has just been killed by Brienne Ex Machina. Then Brienne will ask Sansa to come with her and wants to kill Theon. Sansa says no to both and she and Theon head for the Wall. Brienne and Pod will go to Riverlands so she can meet Jaime and then get killed by Sandor. UNLESS she once again kills one of my favourite characters, i.e. Theon.
Dorne I don't know. Nor care, really. Jaime and Bronn need to gtfo of there asap.
In KL I see ADwD epilogue happening, without the deaths of course. Then some scenes with the Small Council hearing about Stannis' defeat. I wonder how will LF react?
Then the death of Balon + introduction of Euron and I suppose no Kingsmoot because there is no Vic or Damphair.
Then there is Meereen. I see the Sons of the Harpy freeing Viserion and Rhaegal. I guess they'll think they can kill them. Tyrion and Varys ruling + Dany doing whatever with the dothraki + Jorah and Daario riding in middle of a desert.
And then there is the Wall and the aftermath of FTW. I suppose there's a fight between the wildlings and the betrayers. Also, Mel resurrects Jon.
I think after being crowned Euron sails to Meereen and captures Rhaegal. He takes fAegon's role.

WF in ep. 601, I think, will start off fast-paced with Rams chasing after his Reek and his bride with his hounds. In a way it would parallel Theon chasing down Bran and Rickon back in ep. 207 (which they could reference via the soundtrack if they so pleased). If either Theon or Sansa hurt themselves in the fall, that would add some tension to the chase. Inevitably they'd run into BriPod but before that they could stumble through Stan's dead army and maybe hide under some corpses or something nasty and GrrMy like that to evade the pursuing husband and his doggies? I dunno, but there're a lot of possibilities here and it would make a good sequence, particularly for a premiere ep., given how slow and prone-to-retreading-old-ground-to-re-establish-shit they usually are.

Sam and Gilly plus Baby Sam will likely skip first (and second?) episode to spare us travellogue on a ship.

"I am a man now, Mother,” I could tell her, "a steward and a man of the Night's Watch. My brothers call me Sam the Slayer sometimes."

The true question is: when is the fucking Wall coming down and when are the fucking Others going to invade the Seven Kingdoms? In episode 9 of the last season? I hope the conflict in the North is done by the end of season 6 so that the Others can invade. I really hope they push the show to eight seasons.

Every political fuckshitcrap will be resolved next season. Only Urine Euron, Dany etc will be left for S7.

They have to address most the cliffhangers from 5x10 in 6x01. I think they have to check in with Jon/Melissandre, Sansa & Theon, Brienne, and they have to update us on what is going on in Kings Landing. The dragons becoming unchained would be a really cool way to end the episode. Arya and Dany also had cliffhangers but weren't in imminent danger of dying and I could see one of them sitting out of the premiere. If they don't introduce Euron in the first scene, maybe it would make more sense to wait for the second episode to bring him in and just spend the premiere wrapping up cliffhangers and setting up season arcs.
