Jessica Lange is gonna win an Emmy. She is killing it in Feud. Yes she is. So is Sarandon and Alfred Molina. I am guessing Feud will be up in miniseries?

Enid where does Legion fit in the Marvel/DC/X-Men comicverses? Or is it separate? I understand there is a whole thing over who has what rights - I believe X-Men is a Marvel universe thing but the rights are held by Fox? Is that the same with Legion? Also, for some reason Dan Stevens reminds me of Hugh Laurie

Also, for some reason Dan Stevens reminds me of Hugh Laurie Oh the Marvel rights are a bit of a mess. The X-Men are a Marvel creation but they sold the movie rights to FOX a long time ago to avoid bankruptcy, back when Marvel was in very bad shape. They also sold the Fantastic Four to FOX, and Spider-man to Sony. FOX has the rights to make X-Men and Fantastic Four movies, but they made a new deal with Marvel to make X-Men tv shows. I don't know how much they paid or what they promised in return, but they got permission. It was a very long process. The news about FOX wanting to make X-Men tv shows started circulating last year I think, maybe even sooner. So Legion is a FOX tv show, but is also completely separate from the X-Men movies. They have nothing to do with each other, Legion takes place in an universe in which mutants are still a secret for the general public. Which is a good thing, because the X-Men timeline is a huge mess already. I think Dan has similar eyes to Hugh, maybe that's why he reminds you of him. I confess I never thought about it

I'll watch them if it's convenient but I no longer have any hope of coherency for the timeline. Hmm, yes, similar eyes. I also think some of his mannerisms and speech remind me of Laurie too (in particular Laurie as House). But maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there

I'm not saying this because Richard Madden (and Mark Addy) is in it, but go watch Oasis on Amazon.com video (it's free, you don't have to have Prime to watch it). I thought it was a good start to what could be a really good show, it almost reminds me of Lost a bit. Acting, plot, effects and theme song (opening credits too) are great!
Hayley Joel Osment's character definitely evokes Hurley, for sure.

Up to date with Legion now. This show is great. We also watched the first episode of Big Little Lies (which only started on the 13th March here, so we only have one episode so far). I liked it, though not too much to comment on yet. Everyone seems eligible as victim and suspect so far. It's a great cast though

day dreamer talk about feud with me. i think its soooooo good, but suffers from being a little exposition-heavy at times. like, i find it hard to believe joan would reveal such personal details about her childhood to anyone, nonetheless a woman we're expected to believe is like her mortal enemy.

I found that believable because Joan wanted Bette's respect so much. I think if Joan had it her way, they wouldn't be enemies and Bette would sing her praises. My favorite part was Bette trying to pretend that BD wasn't bad at reading her lines.
