Watched the first episode of Hannibal, damn, that was good, very cinematic. I think I'll really enjoy it, I just hope it's less episodic and more of a serial.

^Uh, should I read that spoiler if I've only seen one episode? I have seen the movies(even Manhunter).

DaveyJoe it's the punchline to a joke, not an actual spoiler.

It takes a few episodes but stick with it. Turns serial about halfway through first season and through to the end. 2nd season has a couple of the best episodes of tv imo.

Should I binge taboo or young pope Well Taboo isn't finished yet. And it's a slow-burn which I think will lend itself better to binge watching. So wait until it's done.

Trying to finish Mad Men, I'm three episodes into season six and I can't believe it's still this good.

Starts tomorrow (Sunday) at 21:00. Looks good, will be trying it out. I guess the closest comparator would be the Man in the High Castle (which reminds me I need to watch season 2)

I think we get Big Little Lies in March, if it's the show I'm thinking of (The Guardian described it as a bit like Desperate Housewives but less soapy). Was planning to watch it. SS-GB aired here last night. It was awful. 1/10 would not recommend

SS-GB aired here last night. It was awful. 1/10 would not recommend I did watch the pilot of Big Little Lies. It was interesting. You can tell Jean Marc Vallee is directing the series. Reese Witherspoon is perfect as Madalene (although the role is similar to ones she has played before...think of a mix of her Legally Blonde & Election characters in their early 40's), Nicole Kidman is very good as Celeste (again, not too far out of her wheelhouse either) and I'm not sure how I feel about Shaliene Woodley as Jane yet. Alexander Skarsgard plays Celeste's husband and he's really good in the role so far. Given the fact that they want to put on Avenue Q as the school play, I have to laugh, because me and my best friend went to see that in Vegas and her husband absolutely HATED that play and is still triggered by it...

outlander wont be back until september oh my goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood this is saddening. End of season two was like The worst part of this is that I watch the show with my dad (and casually ignore all the hardcore fuckin that they do) and I wanted to start reading the books, but he made me promise that I would only read them after the corresponding season aired so I wouldn't know what was gonna happen ahead of him. So I JUST finished Dragonfly in Amber, assuming that season 3 would be in April...BUT NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR TO READ IT but apparently Voyager is huge so if they need more time to film, then I guess its okay... As long as season 3 starts with Culloden
