I think this season has been absolutely incredible thus far. Yes, there isn't much plot, but Hannibal is one of these shows that convey so much meaning and ambiguity through dialogue and imagery that I feel endlessly entertained. I can see how it may be too pretentious for some, but I don't see it that way. IMO this show tries to be more than just a TV show and borders quite intensively on art. I think it is incredible how Fuller manages to incorporate so many cross references to history, art, literature and especially philosophy. I, for one, adore it and I do think this is the best current TV show. I hope this gets picked-up by Amazon.

Wow, this show is getting a little too pretentious this season. Even worse than Season 1 so far, in my opinion. Hoping it gets better though! That episode where Will was imagining Abigal and wandering around some church was really bad.

I love this show, it's so bizarre and out there, which is why I think I love it.
Sorry to hear it got cancelled, although, like others I'm not surprised. Different isn't good when it comes to the mainstream. There have been too many shows I've become attached to that get cancelled because they don't appeal to that masses, that's why I rarely see network television.
I do hope they get picked up by someone else, Netflix would be a great partners. And now I need to catch up with the last couple of episodes.

What does that leave them with options-wise? Hulu?

What does that leave them with options-wise? Hulu? Fuller has already stated that they are discussing possibilities with Amazon.

Chilton as Nick Fury in the last episode was genius. Wish this didn't air nearly a week later than the US over here.

Oh yeah they suck balls. But unfortunately even the HBO shows have adverts over here. The BBC are the only ones who don't show adverts thanks to the nationwide license fee (which is soon to die a death anyhow). Even a simulcast GoT had adverts FFS!

This link to the most recent episode strikes me as being pretty HD. And of course, it doesn't have commercials on it...
