Kingdom of Heaven had potential but honestly Orlando Bloom just couldn't carry the movie for me, he is such a bland leading mad and really just an average actor at best

Watch Director's Cut, it is so much better! I know! We watched the original version in a film class in high school and it was horrible, but I was intrigued so I checked out the director's cut and it was fantastic! But I can't watch it illegally on my college wifi or I will no longer have my college wifi so I must wait two more weeks. Kingdom of Heaven had potential but honestly Orlando Bloom just couldn't carry the movie for me, he is such a bland leading mad and really just an average actor at best Bloom is bland indeed but at least the film was somewhat coherent, unlike most of Scott's latest Norton and Eva Green were especially terrific, I feel so bad about Eva because a bunch of her scenes were only in Director's Cut and she was so good in the role

Some footage of David O. Russell's new film showed at Cinemacon and it's apparently looking like a bit of a drastic turnaround from Hustle/SLP, which I both adored. I loooooooove JLaw, so I'm all kinds of here for her doing a more gritty drama a la Winter's Bone. I don't think I'm ready for this

Johnny Depp in a good movie again?
Also this, Jamie Foxx describing the opening scene of the Scorcese-directed, Terrence Winter-written Mike Tyson movie he's going to star in.

Saw Ex Machina tonight and it fantastic. I highly recommend it. Alicia Vikander absolutely stole the show; Oscar Isaac and Domnhall Gleeson were really great as well.

You have no idea how sad it makes me that Laura Linney has to take a pay cheque part in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel (of ALL movies) to remain relevant

I've been wanting to see it - thanks for the heads-up You have no idea how sad it makes me that Laura Linney has to take a pay cheque part in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel (of ALL movies) to remain relevant That is so sad. Really, a shame. ~~~~~ I think I'm going to try and see Avengers this week or upcoming week. I always enjoy a good action movie.

Someone suggested that maybe her little son is a fan of the thing and that's why she did it. Anyways, it's still a long way to Cage's level

Bryce Dallas Howard is rather excellent I loved her in The Help, she was excellent. It saddens me that she was never got any nominations for that performance, save almost getting in at BAFTA. I do love Octavia Spencer though, even though I would have ranked her last of the 3 Help ladies who were nominated (Chessica was HILARIOUS).

I saw Ex Machina last week, I'd definitely recommend that one. Very solid.

Super hyped for Mad Max in a couple weeks. The trailers look absolutely amazing. I don't go to the theater much, it has to be something I really want to see, I will definitely be seeing this one on the big screen.

I love and hate open endings at the same time. Was Teddy actually insane or did the doctor lie to him? Fantastic plot.

Yeah, he probably was insane but the movie makes you wonder whether the doc lied to him.
