Let's talk about films! What are your favorite films of all time and why? Have you seen any good movies that you want to recommend to us? Rate & discuss here!
I'll start with mine:
Lord of The Rings (all of them) - so epic and it's hard to pick a favorite! The Gladiator - a solid 10/10, absolutely fantastic plot and great performances from Russel, Joaquin and Djimon. Blood Diamond - a harsh, but realistic story about smuggling diamonds, civil war and human conflicts. Both Djimon Hounsou and Leonardo DiCaprio are performing excellently here!

Hmm favorites of all time? I'm not much of a movie person anymore but I'll think of some! I'm with ya with the LOTR films. Definitely favorites. Never get tired of them! (Hobbit films...not so much but I digress) Interstellar and Inception from Chris Nolan. Maybe because I just bought Interstellar last week but good movies. Inception is better though. District 9 is up there too. Great effects and good plot twist if you go in knowing nothing like I did. But most sci-fi watchers know about this one by now. V for Vendetta. I don't really like comicy superhero type movies and I'm not sure if this is considered one but I love it. Most people have heard of this one too I think. If you don't mind foreign movies and love crazy shit anything by Park Chan-wook is great. Korean director. His Vengeance Trilogy is amazing. Crazy but good. Reminds me of Quentin Tarantino in a way. And last but definitely not least anything by Hayao Miyazaki. The man is a legend. That's about it for me.

I tried sitting through Gosling's Lost River last night but the movie got so bizarre I figured he must have done peyote while he was shooting it. I'll finish it for Hendricks, but not tonight.
My favorite films of all time are Black Swan, Mulholland Dr., Snatch and Pulp Fiction. But there are several like Casino, The Big Lebowski and In the Loop which I could probably watch every day and never get tired of them.

All I wanna do is watch Kingdom of Heaven but of course its not on Netflix or Amazon Instant Video or HBO or anything. Watch Director's Cut, it is so much better! I know! We watched the original version in a film class in high school and it was horrible, but I was intrigued so I checked out the director's cut and it was fantastic! But I can't watch it illegally on my college wifi or I will no longer have my college wifi so I must wait two more weeks.
