The show has proven - again - how it can develop characters very well in a short time when it wants to, think about the HS (only 4 eps?), Oberyn (7 I think), so I'm thinking Randyll and Euron will work very well on S6. Maybe even LSH!

"Priest, in his 40’s or 50’s. A gruff ex-soldier who found religion. Now a no-nonsense rural priest who ministers to the poor of the countryside. He’s salt-of-the-earth man who has weathered many battles."
No shot that's Aeron?

Aeron never really "ministers to the poor of the countryside"

I have no idea why Brienne would just go back to the Riverlands though. A third season of her meandering around looking for a Stark girl? I couldn't cope with that. Well obviously the search for the Stark girls will be done after this season so I doubt she's doing much meandering. She could be on her way to King's Landing or Tarth or something and going through the Riverlands on the way where she runs into Meribald. It will be? Brienne might be able to leave the North because she is either content that Sansa is safe or she's dead and she can (obviously) no longer help her, but I don't see why she would just give up on Arya. She knows she's still alive so she might return to the Vale to aimlessly wander around trying to find her.

They've already gone down that route and Brienne basically admitted that she's done with Arya since she got turned away. It's far more likely that Sansa is staying in the North at Winterfell and Brienne (presumably having gotten her safely away) has fulfilled her vow and now is on some new track whereby she simply happens upon Meribald, which leads her to the Hound and then... The show will get everyone back on their book paths eventually. Sansa's going to Winterfell, and Brienne's going to link back up with Jaime in the Riverlands.

Let's just pray to all the gods that the Iron Islands are much better than Dorne. This. This casting call sounds very promising. Especially with the potential of casting Young Robert, Young Ned, and Young Brandon. I was not a fan of the Greyjoy storyline in the books, so I hope if they really do go with it, it is an improvement over the books.

So if we're getting Meribald, its pretty certain we get Sandor, as well. And if Sandor is now reformed into a deeply religious man, he could well be the Sparrow's champion to face off against Cersei's champion in a trial by combat. dun, dun, dun...

I don't imagine we'll get much of any stuff actually taking place on the Iron Islands so in that sense, it would be different than Dorne. Euron will probably be involved in the Citadel storyline as he is in the books (by attacking the Reach). That would link him up with Sam's story. I wouldn't be surprised if Yara is paired up with Euron as well as a reluctant lieutenant.

Plus, I don't think Aeron was in many battles? Someone may have to correct me, his chapters put me to sleep.

Have there been leaks to make people think the three young boys are being cast for a Ned, Robert, and Brandon flashback? I'm wondering if the boy who is supposed to be 8 but looks 12 is the Mountain or the Hound. Just not sure who the third boy would be in such a flashback.
Also, if two of them are Ned and Brandon, my bet is the third smaller one is Petyr.

So no Victarion? I can't say I won't miss him, but it would probably be better if they merged Euron and Victarion into a super Greyjoy. Let Euron have his cunning and deceit while borrowing Victarion's awesome fighting abilities. It would be great to have Euron in the center of the action instead of just moving the strings from afar, like in the books.
