Has Michael read the books? The way he talks about it it seems so.

I hope so. I'm a little biased because I think all of Roose's lines are golden, but those need to be in the show.
I get the impression he hasn't read the books, mostly because he thinks Ramsay is more dangerous than Roose. Nah, Roose is more dangerous, he's just discreet about it.

I'd also say that Ramsay is more dangerous. You name it: Roose is discreet. Ramsay is open about it and is unpredictable. I'd say that is why Ramsay is more dangerous. But if we talk about battles, war, cunning Roose is much more dangerous. But in regards of Sansa. |

I think you can draw a clear line from Ramsay to Joffrey and Roose to Tywin as far as comparisons go.

I'll agree that Ramsay is more dangerous but only because he's a loose cannon and unpredictable so he does stupid things (like flaying the lord and his wife because they refused to pay taxes) and Roose doesn't approve of overhanded management. Roose is capable of far more dangerous plots obviously (Red Wedding) and he's calculated and careful - two things Ramsay will probably never be.
Just curious why you guys think Roose will flay Ramsay next season? He says all that's left to Ramsay in his interview.

I think you can draw a clear line from Ramsay to Joffrey and Roose to Tywin as far as comparisons go. Without a doubt. I do believe GRRM intended it that way. And sure does sound like Michael is a book reader. As for Roose not being on Arya's kill list, show wise, she only knows of the Frey's involvement in her mother and brother's deaths but not Roose's. |

Just curious why you guys think Roose will flay Ramsay next season? Part of the Bolt-on theory. I think Stannis will kill Ramsay during the Battle of Wintefell, although I'd love if Theon would kill him. Roose will escape. |
