Haha, that's a good observation! She really plays the part very well. And her and Roose come across as quite a happy marriage This. I get the impression that Roose genuinely likes her What is not to love? There's no shame in being a chubby-chaser

I think we need a Roose and Walda romcom I really find the show portrayal of Roose intriguing. for me he is really taking over Tywin's place - a man who has done HORRIBLE things but has some rules and there are areas where he is more than decent - as a husband and...host - like being displeased with Ramsay being so unkind to Sansa. What the show does very well is having the scenes of Stannis with his wife and his daughter and Roose with his wife and son - juxtaposition that will establish them so well and then make the battle - which we hopefully get - so thrilling

I definitely think it adds to the content. Theres been a lot of comparrisons this series hasn't there? Jon and Dany, Stannis and Roose, Littlefinger and Varys (kind of)... I've actually found it better than series four. It definitely started off in a far better place than previous series, but theres obvious reasons for that. D&D like to get their mileage from characters though and Michael McElhatton and Stephen Dillane play those parts so well, and those parts are pretty alike, both military minded, conditioned, powerful leaders. Its easy to understand why we're getting these comparrisons between the two. I love the North story this series and its definitely gonna continue to be one of the hot topics for the rest of the series me thinks.

Season 4 is my favorite, but 5 can surpass it depending on what happens at Hardhome/Daznak/510. It'll be very hard for 510 to surpass The Children for me though.

Season 4 had a lot to do with setting the stage really, getting all the stories to where they needed to be. Not to say I disliked it in the least. 409 was great, Sandor went out like a trooper and Karl Tanner? Who could forget the fooking legend that could piss in any gutter and soak five Rasts and kill any knight anytime, those cowards in steel plate. I thought SHOberyn was just that fun mix of comic and badass thats so good it means hes not gonna last too long But I just feel Season 5 has more going for it content wise since the plot can really get moving forward now. Some stories felt a little slow in S4, like Dany, Stannis, the Boltons... But theyre speeding up big time this time round. I can only see good thigs ahead for season 5.

The lame thing is that you're so right here and people are still complaining about this season being too slow

Someone get the PTV Unsullied some: Hot Cocoa, warm blankets, and Bolton's BBQed. To summarize one of them they feel: "Bowed. Bent. Broken."

There's quite a contrast between Sullied and Unsullied this week. Many of us are saying "Oh well it wasn't as bad as I expected - at least they toned it down" whereas many of them are saying "Oh well this time they've gone too far! I'm fed up of what this show has become!" (etc.)

I fear some of the stalwart Unsullied folks might throw in the towel. I've seen the term misery porn thrown around by a couple on the various Unsullied forums.

Yeah, one person in particular at PTV wasn't very happy:

^ Haha, what? How was that scene a "masochistic shot fest"? It wasn't glorifying the act in any way.

Take a shot when something shit happens to someone you like That would definitely be masochistic, I don't know if I could survive an episode if I played that. But maybe my mind is just focused on the booze already

On a fairly unrelated note, I saw an Unsullied say, "Is Mr. Eko going to have greyscale now that he's touched Jorah?" And another replying, "Omg now I know how he's gonna be killer croc"

Should be SHIT fest

They will quit as much as one blog reviewer threatened to after the Talisa stabbing at the red wedding, yet continued to keep on reviewing anyway... The series just brings out the masochist in all of us. I doubt anyone will quit (or many). If anything most will keep on watching just to see Ramsay finally get whats coming to him.

My Unsullied friends loved the episode. Loved Dorne (it sure looked beautiful), loved KL (AG and DP were great), loved Tyrion/Jorah, loved Arya.

I will riot if Stannis dies in the Battle of Ice.
Though I won't riot so much if Roose kills him.
But gods, if it is LF I will rage!
